You see Jesus sees us as sinners and that's why people are dying Sooners are dying Hollywood stars are dying there's so many great talented Legend Hollywood stars that are dying because they do not have a relationship with Christ Millions have died on overdosing on drugs they never heard the gospel and all the Bible said Jesus said we will die in our scent is except a man be born again he cannot enter or see the kingdom of heaven and we need to look at where we're going to spend eternity I mean I'm Jesus said we will die in our sins
@@theresasmalls547 As soon as you get down from your pulpit, I am not sure if you are daring to imply that David Lander died from a drug overdose, or had been involved with drugs, but this gentlemen had a 40 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis, which is a debilitating disease and a slow and painful death (and yes, this hospice nurse has seen it up close and personal many times). Find another forum to 'preach' your blame game. Do not besmirch the name of good and innocent people, who no longer can speak for themselves. Perhaps it is *you* who should remember the words of Jesus Christ: "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".
@@jenniferbaldini3527 yep Jesus said if we're not born again and saved and if we don't accept him if we continue to live after the flesh we will die in The Flash that's why people are dying in their sins Jesus said except a man be born again he cannot see or enter the kingdom of God the lord gave me instructions to tell people to get right he's coming back or gave me instructions to tell people to get right he's coming back to destroy this Earth
@@theresasmalls547 I'm pretty sure the Lord did not intend for you to use "People who appeared on Laverne and Shirley before they were famous" as your forum of false accusations and vitriole. I'm sure there are plenty of 'End of the world' chat rooms for you to share your message. This one, however, is inappropriate, and unnecessary.
She’s a babe in the “girl next door” kind of way. And she had a pretty nice body too. I’m sure a different role would have brought that sexy quality out in her
@@shizuokaBLUES Yea, but I always liked her the way she was. Cute. I wouldn't like for her to be sexy. Lol. It would take away from her cuteness and humor. The charity wrestling scene was so hilarious when she had to fill in for the girl who got hurt "lifting her brother's DeSoto". And she starts stretching and warming up. Haha. Anyone remember that one?
Technically Richard Moll always had hair. When he auditioned for the part of Bull, he had recently shaved his head for a role in some sci-fi movie. The producers liked the look, so they had him keep it.
@@bloozedaddy I can understand satire just fine - it is a destructive form of humor. But This is Spinal Tap is not particularly funny. "Our amps go to eleven" OMG THAT IS SO FUCKING HILARIOUS I AM GOING TO EXPLODE!
I remembered that episode "Why Did the Fireman", if only because it was quite possibly the saddest one of the entire series... but I'd forgotten Ted Danson was the fireman in question.
I love watching that show and I think I've seen every episode. Amazing all of the stunts those ladies did on their own. Laverne never showed any fear. Shirley did it even tho she was more timid. We won't ever have a show like this again.
I was so young when I watched this show I didn't realize their were so many "men" for dating scenes..lol always interesting when u watch things yrs later
@@landlinesandpercolators8822 I honestly believe it's the funniest movie ever made. I love low-key hijinks. Jack Warden as the twin brothers was masterful. Toby, go get me a Philips head...NO! I said a Philips head!!!
@@DeadBunny69 Well....maybe an "okay" show. Donna Pescow just couldn't carry a sitcom...she was more of a "that girl from Saturday Night Fever" and "Hey, wasn't she on Love Boat a couple of times?" She was a rare casting mistake from Garry Marshall and his crew. Hays had not yet hit it big with "Airplane!". (IF he ever REALLY hit it big...he (co-) starred in four or fives different TV series, but never really had a hit...he's had a fine, "working actor" career...but has never equaled Airplane!
Omg lol, i wouldnt have recognized Mark Harmon if his name hadnt been there. Would have driven me nuts trying to figure out where i recognized him from. Lol
@@kiaguy47 Can't forget Mork & Mindy: Penny Marshall appeared in the pilot Episode which was a spin off from Happy Days which was a Spin Off of an episode of Love American Style. God I feel old LOL!
@@martymcfly5434 There was another Happy Days spin-off called Blansky's Beauties, It was set in the then present day 1970s, but Penny Marshall guest starred in one episode as Laverne.
The MTV Host was "Downtown" Julie Brown. THIS Julie Brown is probably best remembered for her turn as one of the teachers in the motion picture "Clueless," later, a coach in the TV series based on that film, and a couple of well received videos based attached to some novelty songs she sang, most frequently heard on "The Dr. Demento Show" -- "The Homecoming Queen's Got A Gun" and "Cause I'm A Blonde."
@@kiaguy47 The point was there was one Julie Brown who was an "MTV Host" - and there was this one who appeared in videos that aired on MTV and made occasional appearances on that network, who could not be reliably described as a host on that network.
Wow..Harry Shearer and Christopher Guest had guest spots on a show starring future Spinal Tap co-creator Michael McKean....R.I.P. Penny Marshall...so hard to believe you're gone
They were all friends before that. Michael McKean and David Lander knew each other since college and moved to LA and joined a comedy group called The Credibility Gap with Harry Shearer.
Here's another fun fact. When they Guest Starred on Happy Days on The Camp Cunningham Episode, they worked with Kristoff St. John who was credited as "Christoff". He is the longest running African American Cast Member on The Young & The Restless who debuted as Neil Winters back in 1991. He played Booker Brown who was told by Shirley Feeney that he could be President One Day.
And Christopher Guest was the guitarist for Lenny and the Squidtones, when they played on American Bandstand. Christopher even said he was Nigel Tufnel from Liverpool.
Richard Moll was on Happy Days before his Laverne & Shirley appearance. He was one of the thugs in the Fonzie's funeral episode which the cast of L & S also guested on.
Boy! I miss TV like this! All fun and laughs! Not to much blood and goor! Not filled with nasty language and political garbage. No, Me Too, or feminism movements. Just entertainment! Stars doing their jobs! Making us laugh!
This is great!!! Did you notice during the Harry Shearer part 4:26, Christopher Guest [who is in next scene 4:53] is standing right next to him in plaid shirt with sweater around neck...to his left? A lot of the people from 'Best in Show', 'Spinal Tap', etc..etc..are in these episodes. Ed Begley, Fred Willard...etc...etc.. just goes to show, all of these funny people were friends and helping each other out.
A lot of the Christopher Guest Spinal Tap ensemble represented- Shearer, Willard, Begley (1st drummer)... Michael McKean was a L&S regular, of course. Great Montage!
No, Mork/Robin Williams never appeared in an episode of "Laverne & Shirley". (Williams' voice *_was_* in the "Mork & Mindy/Laverne & Shirley/Fonz Hour", a 1982 Saturday morning cartoon that lasted one season.)
....saw an episode of Leterman's 12:30/NBC show with Penny....her ONLY appearance....and she looked terrific, was rehearsing for her appearance on NBC's short lived THE NEW SHOW....looked great, and did an athletic hip-hope/rapper's break dance on The New show that week. Look up on youtube. com
galanie- I never thought Penny Marshall was all that much to look at, I think it had to do with her overbite. COULDN'T UNDERSTOOD why she and Freddie Mercury NEVER got their 'Overbite' taken care of?!!!
