I know there are already many videos compiling scenes with Pepe Le Pew hopping. I felt like making a complication of Pepe hopping from all of the classic shorts from his first theatrical short in 1945 to the last one in 1962. Not to mention that Pepe's now iconic hopping is one of the cutest things period. Also I threw in some other characters doing his iconic hop because why not.

Pepe was the only cartoon in Looney Tunes where there were no bad intentions, and I think Pepe is sweet. Poor thing is just a hopeless romantic, and yeah he comes on strong, but he’s still so sweet.

It's hard to believe just how a cartoon skunk Pepe Le Pew; would be this dumb, to be forgetting all about his wife. I'm always going to remember when Pepe Le Pew made one mistake when he; had ran across a cougar, masquerading as a skunk. He even made a mistake when; he was falling in love with, one male house cats wife. It's true that Meredith the cartoon woman skunk, didn't appear in any of the Pepe Le Pew episodes. There was also no nearby dating service centers.

I think Pepe Le Pew has the most beautiful visuals, the colors, the background and generally the story of love. The artist did a wonderful job our portray objects as hearts. Imma never stop loving it.

2:25 the short episode where Pepe realized the skunk he is falling for isn't actually a skunk but a cat, but still loved her, he even painted his tail all black so Penelope would think he is a cat, so she wouldn't run away from him.

True. Just like Chuck Jones' own Road Runner cartoons, if you look closely at the background art, originally they looked very realistic, which was designed by Robert Gribbroekk. As the series progressed, the background art began to look more abstract, courtesy of the backgrounds designed by Maurice Noble.

@@0047sssss Speaking of which, Pepe would make out with Sylvester by mistake again in both The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries episode "Is Paris Stinking" (where in that episode, Pepe is depicted as the bad guy responsible for stealing all the perfume from France) and in the movie "Tweety's High-flying Adventure" (where in that movie, he mistakes both Sylvester and Penelope for fighting over his romantic affections, when actually, the two cats were fighting to catch and eat Tweety who traveled to France)

Pepe Le Pew, el zorrillo enamoradizo, galante y persistente que nunca se da por vencido. Me sorprende que haya gente que lo asocie con acosadores, es solamente un dibujo animado, quienes no lo quieran ver y les caiga gordo, pues que apaguen de una sus televisores y no lo vean más, tan fácil que es pero no lo hacen, se torturan solos pero Pepe sigue concentrado en lo suyo.

When it comes to the Pepe Le Pew cartoons and how they're interpreted/misinterpreted today, I am in no man's land, because I've heard both arguments and can't really decide. I mean, yeah, I know that people are going to see it as sexual harassment played for laughs, but is it any different from characters like Quagmire from Family Guy or Archer from Archer? But then I hear some of the lines and think, "Huh, maybe the people who want him canceled have a point." What's worse is that I've been feeling this way since I was 17, before people took political correctness seriously (though it was there on some level).

I am usually very sensitive to grape issues, but never, ever, did Pepe le Pew made me feel uncomfortable. I saw it as parody when I was a child, and I see it as a parody now, at the age of 44. I wish people didn't actively look for things to be offended by.

The way Carl Stalling and Milt Franklyn compliment Pepé Le Pew’s hops is mapping out musical chords. Any instrument in the orchestra whether it is a violin, the woodwinds, or the xylophone, they perfectly time the hops creating a happy go lucky motif signifying his character. Good-natured with obliviousness, that’s what makes Pepé looney. If you were to update the video, Pepé Le Pew does hop in a few New Looney Tunes episodes. It is in “Loon-Raker” while he hops to Elmer Fudd’s secret base on the moon and “The Towering Hamsterno” where he dances to Alouette while hypnotized by Hans Hamster.
