PEPPERDINE PROS AND CONS// my honest thoughts 

“Everyone’s friendly but no one wants to be friends with me” that one hit. I go to a really similar college - tiny and Christian - and it’s also true there. Even tho everyone is nice, it can be so lonely if you aren’t able to find a group of friends. I’ve already been there for three semesters and I only have a couple people I’d be able to say I actually have a real friendship with. But I also know a lot of people who have really great groups of friends. Just really depends a lot on what dorm you live in, what orgs you’re in, what classes you take, etc.

Okay but can we please just take a moment to appreciate the fact that Melanie finally got a new lense and tripod :) but all jokes aside I'm excited to watch this video

I just got accepted to Channel Islands and decided I will be transferring there this semester. I have an apartment on campus and all of these college vlogs makes me really excited to start this new chapter in my life that I'll literally be starting in less than 3 weeks!

i’m almost done with middle school and i’ve really been considering pepperdine. a family friend goes there and she seems to be having a blast. i can’t wait to look into this. ❤️

My son has been accepted for Fall 2022. Would you say Pepperdine and LMU are comparable, just wondering if you have any inside information being that they are similar and close in location. He can’t decide between the two.

i feel like i read somewhere that it's required to go to weekly chapel or something like that as part of the religion curriculum requirements. is that true?

Idk if it’s just me but university so far has been the worst experience of my life. Literally by mid october i already planned to finish this year and then drop out. Also my uni says it has 11,000 students on campus but the campus is way too tiny for 11,000. You can walk from one end to the other in 5 minutes. The classrooms are tiny. The lecture halls barely hold 150 people most likely less. Most of the buildings are dorms and not actual class buildings.

just applied and I didn’t realize how small the population 😬😬 it’s literally the size of just my highschool class 😭
