I remember seeing these guys on American Bandstand! The lead singer did a spin on the chorus and he had white pants on- you could see his butt hole exploded and it ran down to his shoes( like Bobo Bojangles) . Dick Clark cut the camera and they went to a commercial. That incident propelled the ‘ Peeps’ to be bigger than the Beatles!!! True Story😎

My parents used to sing this to me at bedtime to get me to fall asleep. They would also take turns letting farts fly out of their bootys. I'm not sure if the song was just very soothing, or if it was their gas that would put me to sleep. Either way, i slept like a baby.
