You know what if you put the roll in the freezer for 15 / 20 minutes then slice its so much easier. And you can get really even slices. Culinary school trick 😉

@jordanbunes8281 I like the plain pepperoni. I also like it when the dough on the bottom is crispy from the pepperoni grease. I do dip mine in marinara sauce. My hubby is a born and bred West Virginian and likes pretty much all variations. I moved here in 2010. I'm originally from Oregon, and when we made a pizza roll, not a pepperoni roll, we would use a tiny bit of sauce in them.

Ooooooooooo, I love me some puff pastry. My favorite thing to do with puff pastry is rap Bree with it. The best thing I ever did was take a wheel of brie, cut it in half, fill it with walnuts and golden raisins, wrapped it in puff pastry and then baked it. It was phenomenal!!

You could also stuff it with dried cranberries and it doesn’t necessarily have to be walnuts, I even saw someone do an extra savory one with bacon and sautéed onions and mushrooms. The world is your oyster when it comes to baked stuffed brie. It absolutely divine.
I like these with puff pastry. I even did a ricotta spinach and other cheese medley and topped them with a garlic parm butter and red pepper flakes. Pretty much whatever you like, fun stuff
do you do this exact but with puff pastry? Like roll it, cut it, and roll it like a cinnamon roll and it still bakes evenly with puff pastry? Just asking because this sounds amazing but worried it wouldn't cook through with puff pastry. @@jensherman2771
if you put marinara sauce in them it's gonna be leakin like a mohican and go everywhere, the pastrys gonna be soggy asf too. just do what she said "u can have a little sauce to dip it into after" in a separate lil bowl.

A person after my big pepperoni loving heart! I wish I could save shorts to a playlist but imma write it down. Looks tremendous!!! Served with some homemade bolognese sauce or a rustic marinara sauce. Now I'm starving!
