I love this one! I love the concept of Peppino of entering Fake Peppino's restaurant. Also love the fact that you get to save Snick in Lap 2. Honestly the best CYOP level I've seen so far.
I would like to think that this level could possibly represent Peppino’s nightmare of his business truly reaching the toilet, and Fake Peppino also being there too to represent him possibly taking over the place doesn’t help either.
This would be a pre-boss level for fake peppino, imagine entering the gate expecting the boss to be right there but no you are greeted with a level, the devs coukd do this as all you have to do is replace pillar john with the actual entrance to the boss
The tileset is awesome, the backgrounds are gorgeous, the layout is insane the Peppino blocks and are incredible, the reused demo assets and tutorial section are the really cool the Peppino platforms are so sick and I love the fact that you can save Snick. 11/10 Best Peppino level ever
imagine this was a final level in floor 4 replacing the boss stage and instead u play this level and after you beat it you go to the fake peppino battle, later after you beat fake peppino you get 2 stages, the boss stage without the level like pizza face and the crumbling tower of pizza, and also the level
If this level was in the game I would like to believe that during the level fake peppino would rotate your screen and do much more mischievous activities.
@kasli the bane it isnt just from scoutdigo, its a scrapped level for main pizza tower too, you can find it in the game files but everything is invisible when you try to go to it
here some unused levels for you all to play with console: use noclip (when needed) enable showcollisions true (in strongcold is not needed to enable showcollisions) player_room (level list down below) A (WARNING almost everything in the mansion crashes the game) mansion_1 strongcold_10 PP_room1 (Tutorial) kidsparty_00 (Crashes on start) edit: forget it, strongcold needs showcollisions and even hidetiles strongcold_"10" not "1"
@@cherryjrguythere are unused objects sprinkled throughout his levels, he for sure knows at the very least how to replace the object.json file with someone elses or adding the objects into the file itself
I think out of all the levels within this mod so far, this has the biggest improvement shown. An issue I had with Piovere and Skydiving were how the tilesets made the level more confusing, especially within Skydiving, where it's very unclear as to what structure is part of the level and what isn't. Devilish Derby fixes some of these problems by adding more dynamic tilesets as well as making the level layout seem more linear to be in line with the base levels, but it ends up being visually messy with so many things going on at once between the background and the level objects, not to mention I noticed a softlock or two there. This improves it by minimizing the use of foreground and background objects as much as possible, as well as allowing wide sections to make Peppino breeze through the level. My only criticism are the pizza portals, as it feels very "pick a path"ish with their implementation when compared to deep dish 9. This is especially apparent within the third secret. I think this could've been rectified if it was redone to show hints on where to go, like what the Sewer level did with it's Pipe Secret
@@rappareprofl5427 No problem, I'm glad to see CYOP levels get better and better with time. The custom spriting is at it's peak here so far, and adding Snick as an extra toppin that only appears when doing a lap 2 was a neat touch. The replayability levels like this brings to Pizza Tower will help the community a lot
This is definitely the best custom level I've seen, and I might even like this better than any of the levels in the actual game! The concept is really cool, very nice level theme, and you even added Snick! Overall a fantastic level, really hope you keep making these levels as all of them have been great so far!
just a PS, i feel like you should telegraph where the fake peppino limbs come out, like you seemingly did with the first room where they showed up. have it be a asset deco you layer overtop where the limbs appear with the same gooey substance in that first room, would make it much easier to play and speed through tbh.
Bibbity boo, acheivement ideas for you 1. All of me: Kill every single naturally spawned Fake Peppino you come across (ones from a spawner dont count, but ones spawned from the pillar john faces and the ones in secret rooms do count). 2. On a limb: Dont get hit by a single Peppino arm or leg. 3. Thinking with portals: Don't go through any of the Pizza Portals more than once.
Oh Yea boi. Btw how do i upload a mod to gamebanana? Or more specifically, when i zip the files of My tower, do the original files stay untouched, like the zip is a copy?
However, I think the fake pep limbs should have an indication where they are, maybe a hole in the place they are in? Other than that, everythings great!
@@file30 I havent quite figured it out but there's certain variables for walking and idle sprites and such you can also use it for custom enemy sprites
@@Cubekid10. Welp, at least i know how to make custom npcs with they're dialogue basically on the 1 layer or higher you put sprite index object and put any sprite and on the lower layer you need to put pizza granny then add showgranny variable and set it to 0 and add background_spr and put the name of the sprite with npc's bubble and then something put in text and you done
oh this is cool as HELL if you dont mind me asking, how did you get the darkness overlay in the first half of the level? i havent found anything that lets me do that
I think they did it by making a sprite, and then making it transparent in the same thing they used to make the sprite in, then just put it as a foreground element
man all of your levels are crazy! i am very interested how you even do all that stuff like dragons and arms like bro do you have cyop premium edition how you do all that?
