Perch Fishing for Dummies - Winter Edition will hopefully have a little bit of information for new comers to perch fishing, and experienced ice anglers that might pickup a point or two.
Thanks to Berkley Fishing, Aqua-Vu, and Clam Outdoors for sponsoring this video.

Excellent video and a wealth of information/knowledge. Thank you for sharing! I grew up in Sweden, ice fishing for large, European yellow perch. Now living just outside of Boston, I reconnected with my childhood passion of ice fishing again this season, after several decades of living and working in warm countries. I have been out on the ice every chance I've gotten this year. Nothing better. Fishing your Canadian perch waters would be an absolute thrill for me. I would LOVE to try my homemade Swedish jigs, lures and techniques and on Lake Eire or Simcoe. I'll definitely plan a trip next season, thinking the train has already left the station for this one. Thanks again for a great video!

Greatings from Sweden. I fish perch at least 200 days of the year. About 100 of them from the ice. I agree you have to move around a lot in the middle of the winter. My go to bait for ice fishing is a big chromed spoon with a 25mm (1") long chain to a size 6 treble hook with a orange colored plastic bead. It works 9 out of 10 days. And it keeps the small perch of.
