Dawm, Witcher soundtrack is the best fantasy medieval soundtrack of all time even if you count movie tv show and games includes. so much style of music amazing work
I don't think there will ever be a game with so much work poured into it like The Witcher 3. It was and still is such and amazing game. GOTC! Thank you CDPR for this amazing masterpiece you have given us.
+SsyxFenix what I meant is that it sounds as good as the studio production used in the game. recently in music live performances haven't been as good as studio recordings because quite frankly alot of artists aren't good enough to pull it off. That is clearly not the case here. This is superb both recorded and live.
Thank you poland for making the witcher series, i have never felt so emotionally attached to a game and fictional characters before, The Witcher series is truly a masterpiece, i can't give enough praise to this game.
Silver for monsters always gives me goosebumps, such incredible performance by Percival. Wish I could see them live after this whole corona situation is over.
My best friend whos polish kept hearing me sing music from the witcher 3 and said the biggest ones comes from a band called Percival. Looked them up, and i cant thank the bastard enough for introducing me to these badass pieces just brimming with cultural joy.
Ni Ra I think it’s the fact that the music in the Netflix version of the Witcher is bad. The stories fine, and the actual fights etc, just the music will never top this adrenaline filled pieces. Like “toss a coin to your Witcher” is so bad. I’m sorry, but it’s not even a coin, it’s a crown
@@jackiessquirrel5508 The music in the Netflix Series is just as good as the game, if not better. And they refer to their currency as coin more than they do as "crown" in the games, please stfu.
@@henryettoit897 Honestly, this comment is filled with so much ignorance of the witcher franchise that I am astounded that you made it in the first place. The witcher books and games have always discussed socially conscious issues. Seriously, one of the most poignant points in both the books AND the video games is Redanias blatant racism and prejudice on mages/non humans. Do you remember the Ard Skelige crowning quest (not gonna spoil as it's fairly late in the game)? One of the first NPCs you meet in The Witcher 3 (the dog hunter) was outcast from the village because he is gay. For fucks sakes, one of Dandelions "girlfriends" (Eilhar) is a cross-dressing Elf. Also, Ciri is white, very much, she is played by the actress Freya Allan. Do your fucking research please before typing this shit out cause throwing this illegitimate criticism at Netflix is only gonna make the actual relevant ones go into the backwater and Netflix is just gonna use a scapegoat of "oh they're all transphobic, homophobic bad people". If we are going to fight this we need to communicate to netflix, in a polite way, that we don't want to see it. But still, even without that, I am hype for the show, as it genuinely looks good. I like the cast, even Henry (who has said he is a fan of the novels, which to me communicates that he genuinely wants this role). I just wanted to mark out to percivals music and I am sad to hear it won't be in the first season.
Agree I was a Skyrim guy now I even feel the gameplay is laughable,The witcher is like a mix of all my favorites RPG's including more hardcore ones like Dark souls.
if i may add something here. I say skyrim is a better RPG because it has objectively more RPG elements .. Witcher 3 is an action-RPG. Talking about the targeting system in witcher and how your character "swims" from enemy to enemy. In skyrim you have to do the movement, u choose who u attack, how you attack. Minor things i know but for me it makes a difference.
I was an elder scrolls fanboy since Arena. Witcher 2 raised the bar on action RPG's. The Elder Scrolls series does allow you to role play a character because there are 10 different ways to complete each quest and you can make drastically different characters and solve problems as those characters. The Witcher allows you to play as Geralt of Rivia in an epic story with better action.
If Percival is not featured in the new Witcher’s series, I will not watch it. It is not the same without them, and honestly, they would‘ve deserved it.
@@gingfreecss3467 I agree about the casting, too. i got angry at first because they didn’t look like the characters at all. Like Triss for example. the actress is gorgeous but that’s not Triss. I didn’t like the actress that plays Yennefer, neither. I have other complaints but it’s the only show we got so i’m gonna keep watching. there’s no point bitching about it
Awesome traditional music!!!!!!!!! I am sure that all the human beings will fall in love with it when they frist time to hear that, no matter where they are from!!! I am a Chinese, I love it! Music has a universal appeal
Sounds incredible even on stage. I'm so glad I played the Witcher 3 and discovered the wonders of Slavic Folklore music. This and Naranča/Widowmaker are my favorites. Funny because Naranča is my homeland's song and I would've had no idea about it if not for the Witcher.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is equal for me in experience, immersion and everything. RDR along with The Witcher 3 are the best games I've ever played in my life.
I really appreciate that dominant voice of the woman in the white dress. It has this nice medieval feeling. The way she shouts, it gives me goosebumps. They got a little fast at Silver for Monsters, but it was still amazing!
I mean their making it so I bet they will try and out do witcher 3. But yea right now Witcher 3 by far the best game ive ever played in my life. Played through it twice with all the DLC over 250 hours on it.
I dont think any game will satisfy me since Witcher 3+its extensions(Blod and Wine? Thats 2 games for EA and 10 dlcs, total cost 300$ :) ) Next game i play will probably be Cyberpunk, i believe in you guys, go go CDPR :)
i really really really hope you are wrong. Not only because CD Red are still making new games but i really hope other companies follow their steps and surprise us in the future
Su gamer791 it's like when you battle that griffin for the very first time and just keep dying over and over and just want to use igni on your controller, and than, just before you have a complete mental breakdown, battle music starts playing, and you feel like you're ready to fight the world... And then you stumble upon a stone and die from the oh so tremendous amount of fall damage you've just received...
I'd say Soule's music is equally amazing as this. You cant compare his music to this. Percival gave us the folk music better, because they are professionals in that. But Skyrim's music daaaaamn that's one for the ages as well. The two kinds of music fit to their own game perfectly. Try switching them up. I love both, find both amazing
Márton Illés and don't forget what soule did in TES:IV and Guild wars 2. He send the soundtracks known at this time Right to Oblivion (no pun intended of course)
Witcher 3 my favorite game - best game I ever played. Story is masterpiece, graphics masterpiece, gameplay masterpiece, music masterpiece. Nothing else to add.
The song is so fitting with the witcher world, it's like medieval with different touch. Playing the game with the world, the lore,, the music etc feels like being teleported somewhere xD
I love love Silver for monsters but damn it, I miss the "AAAAAAAAAAAAAA" so much! I know she isn't in the band anymore but that scream gave the song another 50% power to it!
She is here. Thats Joanna Lacher on the left. The scream isn't here because this is "Sargon". Silver for Monsters is basically a slightly different version of that song
@@godhemusic you're probably right, but to me, the girl on the drum doesn't look like Joanna at all, cus i've seen other videos of lives shows with her. I may be wrong, but thank you for the info anyway! :)
It's her, stage right, far left when facing stage. 😉 If you need further proof, she's wearing the same dress in the Wild Hunt Suite ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Bdm3lvYUjZg.html And she sings with her hands. 😁
Actually it was the opposite way. The soundtracks and some of the story was created around old slavic folk songs, ballads and tales. The group Percival existed long before creation of the Witcher III and the developers opted to write soundtrack around their performance. Yet there has been incredible amount of work put into to the witcher (books and even the, later created, comic) which labels it the most incredible story saga ever transported to computer screens for us, gamers, to see.
Tomáš Hořenín the group is named after a character from the books, percival schuttenbach is a gnome member of the zoltan company, so they created the group in honor of the saga
Yeah, I don't doubt that. I'm just saying, that they existed long before The Witcher III game had been created. Yet still, the songs are based on old slavic folk songs.
