Percussion Foot Pedals 

Man the independence while the left foot plays clave is unreal.

First time I've seen a foot percussion pedal collection video. Appreciate you making this and I enjoyed your tips and seeing the pedals in use.

Nice, useful selection of foot-activated percussion gear. I used to play percussion for dance classes at NYU and I relied a lot on using both feet to enhance my sound. I was one of the only drummers there at that time doing this, and it truly gave me a 'leg-up' on the competition... ;) Q: do you ever strap shakers or other gear directly to your ankles when playing? I found that getting a small selection of dollar store adjustable dog collars was useful, along with some scrap lengths of heavy duty velcro. I was able to get very good direct control of Meinl shakers, 'goat toes' and also a hi-hat-topper-tambourine that I rigged for my left foot; without having to carry and extra pedal around... My percussionists motto: "All You Need Is Feet"...

Excellent demonstration.. I’m curious about the spring tension for the various pedals. I would think a tighter spring would be the preferred set up?
