It's the same with chargers, you can never fix the bastards unless it's just the fuse gone. I blew up a Husqvarna charger yesterday whilst trying to fix it 😡

Well that’s a bugger…. Not sure they’re all that anyway, mines always on the blink. Only have to touch the mains lead and it throws a fit 😂, mind you I don’t suppose having half a bag of multi finish in it helps 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️😃☕️

Have you ever had any successes? Just asking for a friend.

Great question!! Some successes along the way I’d say but there will always be a broken circuit board I can’t fix 😔

The on button seems to be fine; that's just a momentary switch to get it started. Looks like a fault in power supply / power management, I'd troubleshoot that methodically. It could turn out to be something really simple and cheap like a duff voltage regulator or blown capacitor. I might even have suitable replacements for the most common components. Is this the MR003G?

Yes it is that model, iv toyed with the idea of getting more genned up about circuit boards but I don’t seem to have the time to do it, perhaps I should have sent it to you or that Steve sticky fix bloke on theee old RU-vid 🤟🤟

@@UKTOOLTALKI'd certainly like a go at it. My abilities are still quite rudimentary, trying to step up a bit from very simple repairs, following a lot of great electronics channels and tinkering when I have time. I've never poked around in one of these job site radios but the innards seem relatively basic, which makes sense as they're really all about the housing, not hi-fi.
