Out of all my peaches this year i have one left. The squirrels took the others. I even had grow bags on them. They just took the grow bag and peach inside of it and took off. Did the same thing with my plums.

Well u know… u can always set traps and take them out “people in this community seem to act like that’s not a option”

Possums will do that too! They will eat anything and crawl thru crap to get them some fruit.

I got about 250-300 off my Elberta. I don't thin it. It drops what it doesn't want. Your redhaven looks great and I don't think you need to thin any more than that.

This is the first year that our "Reliance" peach has had fruit and it is loaded. I have been thinning the peaches for over a month.. The only problem has been too many peaches with a worm in it. I did hang bug traps but I did not spray any insecticide - I should have.

Plum cucurlio. Spray surround after fruit set. I'll likely be doing that to the plums and apricots next season.

It’s funny there’s people on my street growing stone fruits I know I should to but im still unable to find what I feel is the variety that speaks to me “if u get what I mean”

Perfect timing. My redhaven is fruiting for the first time this year and I saw them coloring up but wasn’t sure when to pick. Hopefully the plum curculio didn’t destroy every peach

Eat a Peach...Allman Brother's Band. Great Musicians. Awesome Southern Rock N Roll. I always think about their music when I see a peach! Looks like you got a good harvest. I didn't thin down my two year old peach tree, and had 4 peaches near the end of one thin branch, and yep it broke off. :( I managed to get three other peaches to stay on. Thanks for the video Ross. Everything in your garden is looking so darn healthy. Do you suffer from fruitfly? Or peach leaf curl? Your peaches are amazing. Don't know how you keep on top of everything Ross.

Peach leaf curl goes away after about 1-4 new leaves of the season. I get plenty of fruit flies. I will be seeing them in high quantity when the figs ripen.

Those are nice looking peaches at the beginning of the video. I finally got peaches on my tree two years after planting it but the worms and the ants got about 95% of them. I'm trying to figure out what to do next year. I bought some diatomaceous earth and I will be trying that.

@@zc3853 That's plum cucurlio. You gotta spray your fruits with Surround after they set fruit.

Hey man! Appreciate the detailed videos and your channel on youtube. Decided to buy a violette de bordeaux tree because of your videos. I have an important question for you. I see conflicting reports on how tall or big this tree may get. What is your experience? Can i plant it up against the house? Thanks in advance!

Agh I can't just bite into a peach like that man I have to peel them, I can't stand the feeling of the skin on my mouth and tongue lol, it's like nails on the chalk board but the touch version rather than the sound version lol

What's the flavor difference between a Redhaven, which I've had and enjoyed quite a bit, and Indian Blood, which I've seen you feature a couple of times? I'm also looking at Peregrine, which comes highly rated.

I had never heard of Peregrine before. Thanks for that. Indian free just has a different flavor profile. It's like the best parts of a white and yellow peach in one.
