Oh my goodness, this is incredible! This feels like an HD remaster instead of just a remix. It's like the version of the song you imagine in your head when thinking about it, instead of the (by today's standards) really compressed tracks the N64 was limited to.
I'm so glad you liked it and noticed it! I really like to stay faithful to the spirit of the original tracks, but adding and tweaking details here and there, thinking of what the composers could have created if they weren't limited by hardware.
This brought back memories of staying up for hours playing Combat Simulator shooting it out with the AI. This surpasses the original while remaining faithful. Incredible, thank you for sharing this.
How did you get the BAHWWWW sound effect at 0:20? Sounds awesome. Really love this faithful remix, it completely modernizes the soundtrack. Would LOVE to hear more remixes from you from Perfect Dark. I'd love to hear Air Base and any of the Datadyne soundtracks.

On top of the 10/10 remaster I love the liberal use of the Goldeneye sound here. I'll be honest, I didn't even notice it was used in the original, I guess because it had a more downward pitch than usual. Amazing work.
Very progressive. And you seem to be comfortable with diversifying genres. I wish you would have switched the high piano octaves for a mallet or bell patch. It works in conjunction with the jingle beats - signifying snow or silence; covert. Otherwise not a bad attempt.
