One of the best demonstrations of why the electric bike ends up being used more often. They make a trip that you might just not want to hassle with no problem. Thanks for a great video.
Bought these for the family for Christmas this year and used your promo code...got a free pannier bag for each of the bikes thanks to your code!!! Appreciate the review and promo code!
Thanks Jenny and David. We’ve been thinking about e-bikes for quite awhile. You’re enthusiasm put us over the edge. Just ordered two with the free panniers. Can’t wait!
Thank you for the great video. My wife and I are 76, 77 and have been retired and traveling for15 yrs. I've not seen her this excited about something for are travels sense adding solar and turning off the generator. We have two bikes on order using your name and getting two saddle bags. Love following you two. Can't wait.
Good health and balance make it possible for you two to still ride a two wheeled bike but many seniors have strength, endurance, and balance issues that prevent them from doing so. Not to worry or abstain though. FOLDING RECUMBENT TRIKES solve those problems perfectly. They also can be equipped with great electronic assist motors. Check out the Catrike Dumont, the HP Velotechnik Scorpion Plus, the Greenspeed Magnum XL Trike ( will hold a rider up to 450 lbs.), the AZUB Ti - Fly, or the more afordable Spike 380. Most seniors will be better and more safely served with recumbent trikes. Check out the videos by Gary Soloman and the Laidback Bike Report. Stay safe.
Good for you two. Many seniors would love to ride two wheeled bikes of any kind, but they have strength, endurance, and balance issues that prevent them from doing so. Not to worry or abstain though. FOLDING RECUMBENT TRIKES make it possible for them to pedal to their heart's content. Electronic assist models too. Check out the Laidback Bike Report with Gary Solomon and their videos on RU-vid.
We just ordered one black and one white bike, of course with the free bags, thank you. Both of you sold us on getting one, well two. Love watching your latest episodes. Your adventures are inspiring. We live in Eastern Washington state, so never know may see you out and around. Thank you and stay safe.
watta awesome video u two provided us! i like the fact, u showed physical vs motorized pedaling...the ease of charging the bikes...just the friendly way u presented this video. tyvm.
Just watched Nomadic Fanatics video on the same bikes. Lectric gave him two bikes to keep. I feel you two are just as deserving, if not more. Hopefully they will see how much you love the bikes, and surprise you. Love your videos. Safe travels.
barney rubel listen again, he thanks them for letting him use and keep the bikes. If he doesn’t get to keep them why does he first introduce it as “his” new bike, then says keep a couple times in the video? He even talks about where it will be when he travels.
Happy late birthday Jenni. My wife and I just watched this video and I have to say you two did a great job selling this bike. This is the perfect accessory for our road trips. I can't wait to ride this bike through Sedona and beat that insane traffic. I called Lectric eBikes to find a local dealer and discovered that they are located in Phoenix, AZ. Levi offered to bring a demo unit to me so my wife and I could take it for a test ride. After about an hour of tearing up my neighborhood on the test bike, we ordered two. This bike is awesome! Thanks for the coupon code for the free pannier bags.
I live in Phoenix also and plan on buying 1 next month and maybe up to 2 more depending on how we like them. I was actually searching the web last week for electric bikes and electric scooters knowing we needed to buy at least one.
Has anyone received their ebike yet? We purchased two on June 1st and have still not received our bikes or a valid tracking number. We were told the bikes would begin shipping on July 1st.
Our new bikes finally arrived and they are so much fun! If any of you are still trying to decide if you want one, the answer is, YES! Everywhere we go, people want to talk about the bike and ask where they can buy one. These things are amazing.
I have had my electric pedal assist bike for 3 years now. I absolutely love it. I am not much of a cyclist these days (vs.10-20 years ago), but I love it. My commute to work is 6.5 miles one-way, 5 miles of which are on a dedicated bike/pedestrian trail by a creek with no stops the entire way. My ebike officially tops out at 20mph so it is allowed on that trail (>21 mph models, like the 28 mph model one step above my model, are not). I can push it to 22-23mph on a fresh charge. What I love best is the beginning of summer when I am out of biking shape, is that it is such a breeze to ride and get started again for taking 6 months off. By the end of fall when the rainy weather kicks up, I am in pretty good biking shape. Those really are a nice price. I got my ebike for $1,750 on a half-off sale through Crazy Lenny's, and still very, very satisfied. Paired with your solar, those really are the ultimate free ride during the shiney summer months. I get 2.5 round trips, but I always charge up at 2 trips just in case of bad wind on the way home... Plus I charge for free at work (and we're the power company, so they don't care).
My wife and I just ordered these Lectric bikes. We also used your promo code and are getting the pannier bags on each bike. I can't wait to get the bikes. Hopefully we get them before Labor day so we can take them on our next camping trip. Love the videos.
Hey Pat! Really glad you like the bike! Please visit us at lectricebikes.com to check it out! If you have any questions please email us at contact@lectricebikes.com :)
FYI In some states riding bikes on sidewalks is illegal. Ohio passed a law some 20-30 yrs ago designating sidewalks for "pedestrian" traffic only, mainly because of kids on skateboards and Rollerblades. It has become problematic with the increase of motorized wheelchairs and such. I've seen walkways and trails marked "No E-Bikes" lately.
This video is so timely! My husband just bought ME an ebike for MY birthday so we will be able to cycle together when we are Rving! My husband is an avid road cyclist, and has been trying to get me on a road bike for a long time, which I refuse to do (riding on the road is NOT for me), nor am I in his class when it comes to riding (he competes in racing events). But the ebike is a GREAT compromise for us - it allows me to cycle effectively with him on trails and bike paths, and we can go explore so many places! One small note in response to your video, and I know others mentioned this as well. It is wise AND good manners to be familiar with the cycling rules and laws of each state you visit. Helps you be safe, and build good reputations as cyclists. (And remember, y'all are CYCLISTS, not bikers! That's one bit of terminology I had to learn!) 😉 Thanks for another wonderful video, and for continuing to share your life & adventures with us! Safe travels!
Great real-world review of what look like great ebikes. Y'all's camera work has become outstanding. No single-handed manipulations, world spinning gyrations, or stationary face with swirling background. Another notable visual in this video, David is wearing pants with full length legs. For the whole video. Pants. They look like new pants too. With material down to his shoes. David. Pants.
I ordered one. My work is 6 miles away (there and back total 12 mile ). I hate having to burn gas for a short commute, plus riding to work by bike will just be more fun. Now I just have to wait for it to ship LOL. Used the promo code as well to get the pannier bags for free. Man, I'm excited !
Thankyou, Your energy in this video was great. I brought 2 bikes for my wife and myself, just can in, FUN and took for a first ride, FUN, all we need is a RV. We are tent camping now, but soon, from Mountain Park ,Ga
I pre-ordered one.... I am a full-time RVer and I was going to get a Honda 110 trail bike and I was going to have to get a cargo container to haul it ( my rig is a truck with the truck camper on top ) but this is like a miracle everything you said is true about this how superior it is to a petroleum products vehicle and the power is free.... I'm so excited I can't wait for July or August when they are released!... another factor is you don't have to go through the whole get your motorcycle license and insurance thing ....wow! I enjoy your channel immensely and thank you guys so much for doing this review .
Hey John! Thrilled to hear you decided to pre-order! We are very confident we will be able to start shipping these bikes in July. We will do everything we can to get you your bike as soon as possible so you can start enjoying all of the benefits of Lectric :)
Happy belated birthday Jenni🎂 Thank you for making this vid on ebikes, I have wanted to purchase one. This looks like the one, thank you🚲 Thank you again, I did look into the ebike and a few others....and ordered the Lectric. Omg, I can't wait to get it in July, you made it look so easy, comfortable, and fun to use. Now I just have to rig up a holder for my fishing pole, so now after I park my RV I can go fishing if I am not close enough to walk. 🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🐟🐟🐟
Real excited for you to get your bike Delta S! You are going to absolutely love it :) Thank you for your order and welcome to the lectric community! #ridelectric
As a full time RV traveler for the last 9 years, an electric bike is so nice to have. I just built a new one which is a fat tire like those but has full suspension.
I’m pretty new to your channel - about 2 months - I used to be a full-timer, and once upon a time I kinda thought I was a cyclist - at some fairly low level! So anyway how many commenters ragged on you for riding on the sidewalks? It’s really unsafe! Both for the rider and unsuspecting pedestrians AND unsuspecting drivers! I was glad to see the helmets. My excuse for not riding much anymore is age, it’s not a good excuse, but it’s my excuse! Anyway after this video I’m really excited about these bikes! Maybe it will get me going on two wheels again. And I can still pedal and pretend I’m getting excercise. Anyway I love you guys and stay safe.
@@FateUnbound How long did it take for them to send it to you after you placed an order? All I saw on the site was that pre-orders in September will be in October. That's kinda vague. Thanks!
Hey Vindab06! Really excited that you are interested in the bikes! :) If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us on lectricebikes.com or by email at contact@lectricebikes.com!
We ordered our bikes July 25th and got them Sept. 18th. Order #3169 It was a long wait but well worth it. Now we're just waiting for the sun to come up for our first ride. But it did give me time too go through and tighten all the nuts (not) because everything was already tight. So LECTRIC eBIKES must be reading all the comments from the Owners Group. GOOD ON THEM. Thanks Fate Unbound for turning us on to LECTRIC eBIKES. Will post more after our ride.
Happy birthday Jenny! I just purchased 2 lectric bikes. I haven’t seen a single review of the XP that has a negative comment or concern. Your fun and informative review capped it so we are now anxiously awaiting our bikes for our late July trip. Btw, we are not full timers but all of the information we’ve gotten from watching your videos has helped us immensely with our first RV. We are “Living the fourth quarter... looking forward to OT”. Bill & Deb
Hey Barabara! Thrilled to hear you are interested! We'd love to get you on a bike. Head over to lectricebikes.com or shoot us a message we'd be happy to get you more information :)
Looking forward to your Lectric bike revie w/update. I bought mine based on your video and one other.....And I Love mine. It is so fun, folds up and goes in my rv, or back of my Jeep when local outings. Thank you for this video.
Happy Belated Birthday Jenni! My husband and I just ordered two of the bikes in white. We live in Michigan and just got a small RV with 100 watt solar and 1000 watt inverter. We plan on adding to it in the future...btw we love your effervescent personality Jenni! Thanks for the great review you two!
Mine should be coming in September. I ordered it about 3 weeks ago and your video helped seal the deal. This will be my second folding e-bike. I have the Ness Icon but I want to try a fat tire that’s capable of traveling on loose gravel and such. The Icon is mainly for pavement. Just hope that those fat tires make up for no suspension. Glad I found your channel. Enjoy watching your videos!
We're hitting the road next year so I decided to do something similar. I purchased a couple of kits from Lunacycle and added them to our existing mountain bikes. After taking it for a ride there was no way we were riding bikes that didn't have disk brakes. So I ordered a couple of bikes from bicycles direct and moved the motors to the new bikes. The ones we got have hydraulic discs, 29 inch wheels and they fly. Close to 40mph with my 200 pound self on it. I know you said you weren't cyclists so one bit of advice is you need to raise your seats so that when you are pedaling your hips are straight and when your leg is at the bottom of the stroke your knee should be just slightly bent, riding the way you were in that video puts a ton of stress on your knees. Good luck and maybe we'll see you down the road.
Hey John! Awesome to hear you already have ebikes and are loving them! If you are interested in adding folding fat tire bikes to your arsenal head over to lectricebikes.com to see what our company has to offer. Thank you for your comment :)
Dave, you're a natural talent at explaining mechanical things. Jenny's joy at riding the Ebike shone through. I've been sidelined by age and infirmity but I think even I could ride one of those Ebikes. What a gas to be able to bike again!
Hey bird10498! We are big fans of Jenni and David and think they did a great job with this review :) ebikes are a great way for people of all ages and levels of fitness to get outside and enjoy a beautiful day! We are sure you'd have no problem comfortably riding our bike. Please visit us on lectricebikes.com or email us at contact@lectricebikes.com. Thank you and look forward to hearing from you soon!
My wife and I have 2 electic fat tire bikes. We never leave for a trip without them. Help us explore the local life without over fatiguing. We do use the pedal option but when we feel to tired we just hit the throttle and off we go!.
Hey G DavisChick! Both Jenni and David will be receiving bikes during the July shipping of this pre-order. :) Most people get a huge smile on their face when they ride a Lectric ebike for the very first time! Check out our youtube channel to see some more smiling faces on the bike :) #ridelectric lectricebikes.com
HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY JENNY!!!! Those Ebikes are AWESOME!!! Definitely gotta get 2 of them for me & hubby when we start RVing!!! Me with braces on both feet & hubby with COPD.. OH YEA gotta get it!!!! Loves/Hugs!!!!
Hey Regena! Really love how excited you are about the bike! If you are interested in getting 2 bikes I would recommend pre-ordering now as we have been receiving a large number of orders and may sell out at the pre-order pricing! Please visit us at lectricebikes.com or email us at contact@lectricebikes.com to learn more! Thank you for your comment :)
My rig has 720 watts worth of panels (but mine are easily removable so I can park the camper in the shade and put the panels in the sun) and 5 years ago I bought a folding Prodecotech eBike and it was great. For example, at Acadia NP in Maine they have 25 miles or so of old carriage trails great for bikes which was perfect to get me around to different places to take my photos (I'm a photographer). My suggestion is to get an extra battery to carry with you so if the first one runs out, you can get back easily. And the sun charged it!
Just ordered a pair today and used your promo code without issue.. Watched your video the first day it was released and have been on fence. I was hoping to see a few more video on the bike once it started shipping but I haven’t seen many. Sad face, now i am at the back of the line. Hope our RVing paths cross one day, love your channel.
You were in the crime capital of America, good thing you stayed with the bikes! I forget how many bikes and vehicles are stolen everyday but it's unbelievable.
Hey Monica! Really excited to hear you are interested in the bike! Check them out on our website lectricebikes.com and reach out to us by phone or email if you would like any of your questions answered! :)
The price for these is pretty good, in the '90's I bought a mountain bike for $1200, now that I'm older these are looking like a good option to get back out there again. You two did such a good job talking about these, I hope they can give you a nice discount for your PR work!
Great vid 2nd time tonight seen this bike I'm impressed, I've had 3 e bikes but that was 5 yrs ago lots have changed. The previous vid the dude went 25 - 28 mph which is plenty fast for most, but I like going faster. The only thing I see is how squirrelly the front end is, might consider a little wider handle bars for a more stable ride other than that keep her happy and you'll live longer.
Welcome to New Mexico!! Born and raised here! Looks like you guys are in the “east mountain” area. If you are still here and need some ideas on what to do or see within 1 hour or so from the Albuquerque area let me know! We are an avid outdoor family and rvers!
These guys are going to sell a ton of these to RVers. Even if your destination has paved roads, it's the unpaved portion of the trip that is a killer for most e-bikes.
Awesome video as usual, David & Jenni. I need to save up and get me one of those bikes. I almost got a bike stolen in Montana Walmart at a campout parking lot. This would definitely eliminate that from happening.
Hey Chuck! Thrilled you are interested in the bike! The folding design of the bike makes it easy to bring inside and keep safe we agree! If you are interested in reserving a bike as a part of our pre-order we can do payment plans to get you riding lectric asap! Let us know if that's something you'd be interested in. You can shoot us a message here or on lectricebikes.com or email us at contact@lectricebikes.com!
Thank you, we just ordered the ebike and was pleased to use your promo code to get the pannier bags. My wife wants to try mine before she decides to get one.
We have two e-bikes as well on the RV. A GreenBike USA model and a Rad Mini Step-through. Both folding and with fat tires. We love them... Locking them up is a pain as is transporting them. One of them ended up riding on the back of the RV and by the time we got back home, there was dirt and grime in the throttle and electronics. And 60# is still heavy to hoist up and down into the RV or the back of the truck. BTW, if they go more than 20 mph, it's not legal to ride on bike paths or sidewalks.
This is great ! Ordered mine based partly on your review. Love Jenni's enthusiasm - LOL ! Also just signed up to support you via Patreon. I've watched a ton of your videos now and they're all really great !
Hey Robert! Hopefully you took advantage of the free saddle bags promo code! We love ours and hope you enjoy yours as much as we do. And thank you so much for becoming a patron of ours on Patreon, your support means the world to us and is the reason we can keep making videos 😊👍
My research of ebikes brought me here. This bike seems to be an exact copy of voltbike’s Mariner model. It’s been out for a few yrs and hugely popular. But more expensive. (That’s life in Canada) It was serendipitous as I found this channel. Immediately subbed! But please, as I cyclist, I ask that u not ride on sidewalks...u could seriously injure someone stepping out of a storefront. Thanks for the vid
