Perfect End to the Season on Rising Stream. New Zealand: September 2022. 

I picked up David at 5.30. We expected the river to be running clear as it hadn't rained all week but was cloudy form snow melt, leaving the water bitterly cold.
No sight fishing today just blind with an indicator.
Forecast was showers turning heavy later in the afternoon but it had started in the rangers Making the river more opaque as the day wore on.
7 fish landed and 2 fish hooked up and lost, lots of missed strikes.
David landed the fish of the day, a 5 pound brown in the second to last pool before the bridge.
