great review! without asking for a ton of money pagani provides an insight into many of the classics that we can't afford. the lume issue is present with most of their offerings but this is known by many buyers going in. certainly if better lume is desired other brands deliver.

nobody can argue that for 100 dollars you wouldn't get nowhere near that quality of a watch from Seiko

Thanks for the review. I looked at this but didn't like the colour of the lume so got the San Martin with the white print. Pagani Design certainly made a good looking watch though.

Definitely one of the best-looking PGs. I really like that they kept the dial real clean by dropping the name text and just having their logo on the dial. How does it stack up against the San Martin version? Is the San Martin homage worth the $100 price difference?

All very well, and I liked mine. Unfortunately the NH35A stopped dead for no reason after 13 months of only occasional wear. The ‘Pagani Design Shop’ in AliExpress wence I bought it denies their the same outfit as the seller. A local Watchmaker to me tried to get the back off. What looks like a screw back, when you turn doesn’t undo and sounds like metal grinding on metal. So what is a pop-off back can’t be released because there’s no knib to get a knife in. SCRAP!Brilliant Any suggestions?

Good review Jase. Quite tempted for this lovely timepiece, but I cannot understand why the NH38 movement isn't used in this model, as there is no day date complication. And as usual an abysmal lume. I think that there should be the option for a Jubilee bracelet. Keep up the good work. JANBOY. Thailand.

Thanks. That was a good review. However I like the glossy dial. I ordered the watch and they gave me a great deal but they would not recognize your code. No worries though. I got a great deal anyways. I have several expensive homages but I do like those cheeky Pagani’s because they’re absolutely great watches for the dollar. PS: I’m tired of those folks trying to justify their purchase of that super expensive and tiny “u know what watch”. I laugh out loud when they try to justify their purchase. Mind you I would buy one of the $$$$$$$ watch at a $1000. It’s a good watch but not that $$$$$$$ good. Thanks again for your reviews. I love them here in the Applachian mountains, USA. You'd like the San Martin. The vintage Tudors had the polished bezel. Ii like that. I love the glossy dial. It's a highlight for me. The crystal also gives a vintage aesthetic. What would I change? I just wish the didn't give it the thick display case back. Don't want to see an nh35 anyway. 100mm of Easter resistance would have been fine. The could have shaved a mm off the back. Then just clear anti reflective coating. Blue glare on a black watch is not a good thing. I would have preferred that smaller new class they've used on some of the watches. And forgot sakes Pagani..... The last respectable AliExpress brand that hasn't fixed their lume yet. That's a deal breaker for many. Glad the finishing is getting a little better.

This is a really nice watch that is almost "ding dong" it only needs a couple of minor adjustments to hit that bell....all brushed, use the NH38 although the 35 ghost date isn't an issue at all for me, the micro adjust on these bracelets are awkward so a glide style would be better and we always want more lume....I do want to add a ranger homage to my collection, the style is right up my street....🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⌚ On a side note I do have to agree that the Islander Rangemaster is absolutely an homage....

Pretty sure Marc and TVG were fairly open about their inspirations.

too bad its to smal for me. i am more in the 40mm size. but get a 40mm with domed and pretudig glass (old looking) is hard to find.

Genuine question in regards to lume. I have a Steeldive SD1970 which has bloody good lume by all watch standards, let alone Ali Express budget standards, but throughout the day between it slipping under a sleeve and spending time in poorly lit rooms, by the time it's actually dark it's virtually useless anyway. Unless you go from bright sun to pitch black it's honestly pointless. So my question is, why is everyone so bothered by it?

I ordered a watch from them during this last sale and they sent it to an address 4,300 miles away from me. I messaged them but they won’t reply. They won’t be getting any orders from me again if this is the best they can do.

The hour hand looks like it was designed by a kid in metal shop class.

Nice looking watch but the problem with all these Pagani bracelets is the clasp is so uncomfortable! Like having two knife blades cutting into your wrist....😖 Had to put straps on ALL of mine. I wish they would re-design them....🙄

Just received one... it's too small. I thought it would be ok on my 7.25" wrist. it's not. It looks like a ladies watch on my wrist. The one positive; it IS very legible. I'll dump it on e-bay.... Maybe they'll make an "XL" model at 39-40 mm.

I wanna buy a Chewdor

While I do like some Pagani Design watches like the vintage Air King, the Longines Spirit homage or the Black Bay Chrono homage when they put a little effort in the design. But I don't rate lazy off-the-shelf designs like this one.

I find the Tudor Ranger really ugly, for me the hour hand ruins the watch, it's a shame as it's the same one TGV / Marc used on the new Urban Gentry Islander, very off-putting, probably a good thing otherwise I would of had to buy one.

I don’t understand why using exhibition backs to show those ugly NH movements. And why did you avoid to show the ugly clasp?

Just had this watch delivered through AliExpress and, of course, it doesn't work. I really should have known better. Have you guy ever attempted to return a watch to China to get a refund?! Please, please be aware that if your watch is faulty the guarantee is pretty much worthless. 100 quid down the drain. You have been warned!

Same case, different dial. Don't know how many watches they can do with this style case. At some point surely they can actually homage a Tudor properly,slab side's and brushed😩 lazy.
