"Perfect" Family Home || The Sims 4: Speed Build 

The parents in this house are enemies with the parents in the house next door but the 2 kids are secretly dating

For a wacky next door neighbor you could have aliens next door. But the aliens are undercover and their human forms are very cookie cutter, 50's style family-like. The dad is a business man named John Hughman. The wife is a homemaker named Jane Hughman who gardens and bakes. And they have a son and a daughter and appear to be the perfect family that this family is always competing with. And the basement could be their alien communications deck.

Maybe a family where one (or both) of the parents is secretly an occult sim? Like they try to look like a normal family, but a few things are a little off

I’d love to see a build for a “quirky family”, like all the neighbors around them think they’re weird and quirky but they’re actually the “perfect family”. Unlike the neighbors who are doctors, politicians etc., these parents have a successful career in an odd job? No family dramas just a family doing their thing.

I’m from Australia so I’m used to seeing smaller houses so when I build my houses r super tiny compared to other simmers builds😂

The rebellious boy could be in love with someone the parents dissaprove (a boy, maybe?)

Maybe in the house next door lives a very rich couple who are in a custedy battle for their grandchildren VS the other grandparents? Just a suggestion , I really love this house! ❤

Maybe for the grand house you're planning to build for this neighborhood, the household could have a broken marriage and a mistress living in the house, maybe three kids and a butler... Probably the wife finds comfort in the butler and they slowly fell in love or smth. I dunno, if you want some juicy drama, there you have it lol

for the house next door maybe u could do a couple with 3 kids but one of the kids is an occult sim and there parents hide her away in the basement or attic in fear of being judged by the other wealthy families.

You could make a family of wizards with the new world!

What about instead of a two person bed for the parents, you separate them? I think that would be interesting because they're the "perfect" family yet the mom and dad don't sleep in the same bed... and when they want to get their woohoo on they could "push" the beds together, which just becomes a double bed XD

This really is "PERFECT!!" I can't wait to see all the households you've created! I love some in game drama! I have a family called the Abbotts consisting of an elderly dad (he's in the investor career but I think he's a crook and steals money for his mistresses ect) and his much younger wife and their teen daughter. They HATE eachother in private and have sordid affairs going on (and have seperate bedrooms) but in public they have the whole "perfect" life vibe going on!

Beautiful house! I love how bright it is ✨ for the next build I thought for a little drama you could have a happy, married couple with triplets and since there’s so many young kids the mother hires a live in nanny for help but the nanny starts falling for the husband lol.

This storyline reminds me a lot of Bree from desperate housewives and I feel like this is that kind of neighborhood like in desperate housewives.

for the big house you should do a single dad with 5 kids and his mom lives with him cause she thinks he can't handle the kids on his own. the dad could be like a writer but his actual job is a like a doctor er something important. for a little bit of drama the oldest (could be girl or boy) they could be really into singing and music and drop out of school and is going to move to the city, but with 4 younger siblings he/she would need to stay cause him/her dad is always working and his/her grandma can't handle it. - sorry i like making up stories

I feel like it would be so cool if you did a huge a-frame shaped house with 3 floors, kitchen, living room, and dining room on one floor, a loft for twins/ siblings on the second floor, and finally a loft for a single mother- she could be a mermaid or a witch (something cool!!) I think this would be so cool, maybe a spiral staircase or something too!!

for the big house ur planning on making i think you should make a widow father and his spoiled daughter and kinda of make it like the father doesn’t pay much attention to her just gives her everything. and for another build i have in mind you can make a cottage in the woods for a grandma and grandpa i think it would be really cool! love ur vids! 💛💕

This house is beautiful! Drama story for the big house you are building: It belonged to a very wealthy couple who recently passed away in a tragic accident. Their will couldn't be found, so now both of their daughters have moved back into the home - each trying to claim it as their own. The sisters could be polar opposites. One is married and has a stable job and maybe a child or two. And the other one could be someone who does odd jobs and plays music on the weekends. She brought her boyfriend along. And the sisters can't stand each other, but they are both trying to prove that they are the perfect person to inherit the house.

I love seeing how everyone decorated Newcrest! I usually put community lots in those lots where you stuck this neighborhood! Idk it just made sense in my head but this would definitely be considered a higher end neighborhood. I imagine his parents try to keep up with the “Jones” the neighbors next door. Maybe the mom makes sure the house is really tidy and she invited the neighbors over and they all have superficial relationships but they look down on her bc her son is a lot different whereas their kids are well groomed and get good grades and kinda snobby their self. Which I imagine puts a little extra pressure on their son to not be like them.

Maybe the grand house could have an old school wealthy family and their son marries a woman who seems like this lovely girl who's great at gardening which her mother in law loves. But shes actually a spellcaster who ran away and shes actually really powerful. And since she and her husband have had children and they are showing their spellcaster powers her secret is out! Dawn you could make a really pretty greenhouse which the spellcaster uses in potions 😯

If you want to add some more drama, you can use that attic space to create a "guest bedroom" and then have one of the parents sleep there, like they pretend to have this perfect marriage, but in reality they don't even sleep in the same bedroom anymore, it's all appearances, also for the new household you can build a house with a secret basement (with the stairs behind a secret door) and trap one of their children there, maybe that child is the result of an affair, or a previous relationship, and they have been kept in the basement for all of their life, until one day they escape, maybe with the help of the neighbour's musically inclined rebellious teenage son, who suspected something was odd after hearing some strange noises coming from the new neighbour's house on a day when they supposedly weren't home

All these people who build amazing houses like this in the sims would make 10x more money as an interior designer than their YT money

This is so elegant

I imagine this semi-rich household who wants to come off as wealthier than they are, with two dads - one is an alien, the other is a mermaid - and their 5 dogs. The alien dad works as a chef, the mermaid dad works as a writer. Other than their 5 dogs they have a daughter who wants to do mischief, dresses as a goth and is fascinated about vampires. Their house is in the richer neighbourhood of Newcrest, but is furnished with all the cheapest items (but the ones that look more expensive than they are). They also have a garden with high fences around so that the dogs can run around as they wish.

You should do a family with erratic, crazy triplets who try to pose as normal but the triplets can't leave the house unnecessarily and can't have too much social contact or they might hurt someone, they can't see each other either because they have a rare condition where they were born with a strong hatred for each other so they have to be able to stay in their rooms, without going crazy.

i am SO excited for this save file to come out i don’t even want to play the game without these builds and families

Maybe for the last house on this street, you could do a family of spellcasters living in Newscrest who are trying hard to hide the fact that they’re spellcasters because they’re scared that the rest of the town will only see them as evil witches. But their kids are growing up and are beginning to learn about their magical powers, maybe a teen/young adult daughter or son that is starting tho experiment with dark magic, even though her parents have tried so hard to raise the kids as good wizards and witches? Just a suggestion, i cant wait to see what you do with it!

Maybe your stereotypical creepy house at the end of the street? Sort of a somewhat overgrown looking Queen Anne or Second Empire. Maybe one of the family members could be an Occult sim?

This is such a lovely house. I think I'd adjust the floor plan on the upper level to include three bedrooms, but other than that it's absolutely perfect.

With every new build for the save I'm getting more and more excited for it. So many beautiful builds at once filled with families that all have their own stories...I'm feeling giddy thinking about it xD Because of the stories/drama for the families, I've got a few ideas :D For this perticular family it be intresting if the boy found someone in the island paradise and also fell in love with the island itself and he wants to go there and maybe build his own house and a bar or restaurant and wants to marry that someone. (Even more drama occurs if this someone is a mermaid ;D) You can add a lot of drama by having strict and old-fashioned parents that don't approve of their childs sexuality or even gender-identity. Maybe they even kicked them out. For something with a little less drama: Add a thief family next to the spy family, so they're rivals, but they act like "normal" neighbours. DINKELBEEEERG xD I'd be also interested in families where the parents don't live anymore and instead aunts/uncles or grandparents take care of the children. That'd be very interesting, too.

You could have a family where the parents are kind of young and have a kid ( not young young, but not fully mature adults ) and the mother is pregnant again, but with another mans child. If the husband found out that could cause ALOT of drama ❤️ love your builds so much they are amazing 😊

I think for the big lot you should do one that’s like a big family that’s super spooky the house doesn’t fit in in the Neighborhood is the role spies an evil criminals and stuff like that and it’s like that dark house on the hill and type stuff LOL

(I know the game won’t really like this unless there’s mods BUT) So these two kids started dating and then their parents started dating and then they were told they had to break up but continued dating behind the parents back. Not to mention that each of the parents have more than just one child to worry about as well. Maybe there’s a toddler and a child and then 3 or 4 teens within the household as well.

I kinda feel like this family could have an imagined conflict with the Goths (or some other big name family), only felt on their side of course, because the Goths are nice to everyone and it's kinda like "keeping up with the Jones" vibe with them. I wish the Sims had an option where another sim could dislike another, like the Mom for this build is jealous and hates Bella because she has a devoted husband or something along those lines, but Bella is unaware on her end, and remains friendly with the sim. You know, relationships that have different effects, because you can hate someone while they are just oblivious and even friendly. Why do both sides have to end up hating each other and not getting along? I want one-sided feelings! Anyway...I'm getting way off topic. Love this build, as always you make such beautiful houses! I can't even find the patience to landscape in mine, and I am just blown away by yours.

This is something I'm currently doing but it would definitely add some drama to your world. Parents died in car crash or something, leaving two children behind and they have to go live with their aunt. The aunt doesn't like children so she doesn't take care of them and yells at them a lot. I currently have it set up with the teen being the main caretaker for her toddler brother, well balancing school and a part time job. She also tries her best to keep up appearances in public cuz she doesn't want Social Services to come take her brother away.

For the neighboring lot, you can have something like the calientes, like cheating husband with a sister or a sons girlfriends mother or something. Think there’d be a lot of drama with a family who puts on a show that they’re wealthy but is actually struggling financially and having a lot of family issues. (I personally don’t play like this because I love my sims but I thought it would be a good idea!)

You should do a house where a young rich couple have moved into the neighbourhood in a traditional style house and they've made really modern updates to the house, like an extension and everyone else in the neighbourhood doesn't really like them

I think the house next door should be almost over the top grand. For a family of three. The father is a politician and he wants to portray the perfect, respectable family but his wife is an alcoholic and his teenage daughter is rebelling by dating a boy from “the wrong side of the tracks”.

Whenever I do a “Perfect” family household I always like to add a few objects that hint to something worse like a knife under the bed

I would say do the odd family next. Like more eccentric. Painters, writers, alchemists, or occult style thing. Like the Adam's family house with their upscale, up tight neighbors.

Another idea for drama- a parent trap situation! Divorced parents who have taken one twin each, or one sibling each, and the kids don’t know about each other

You should build a family house with a secret hideout/secret lair for a kid/teen like in a bunch of kids shows! Like the kid is a super spy or hero, or they're playing superheroes. Just because I always thought it was cool as a kid.

For the house next door, maybe you could do a sugar daddy with a sim who wants it all, she wants the rich/Gucci life but then she falls pregnant and she doesn't want it because it'll change or 'ruin' her life for her.

I think a cool family idea would be something sort of like the Addams Family. Where each member is VERY different in theor own way. Where the father is a vampire which would be the family's long living secrett and wants a successful lineage but the children stray away. One wants to be a actor. The other dreams to be a family man or woman in the country to grow old with their spouse. But they are stuck living in their father's vision til they grow up.

This house really gives me Geoffrey and Nancy Landgraab vibes I feel like they would fit in perfectly in this style and Malcom with a makeover would fit the teen rebellious son

If there is a light brown I suggest breaking up all the blue with a tan brown color on the curtains. But I still think it looks great either way

You should do an "On-the run" criminal family.

Maybe parent who wanted lots of kids but they couldn't have there own so they adopted 3 children bun now they are so busy with there amazingly good paying jobs and the kinds are kinda neglected and the parents only care about themselvs

I'd like to see more drama between neighbors. Like maybe someone is having an affair with their neighbor? Or one neighbor is a shady business person and one neighbor is a hard working cop and there's a clear divide between their wealth and morals, but their kids start dating leading to drama? Or one family is into politics and industrialization and the other family are more hippy-ish and are gardeners and conservationists and they constantly clash (though I suppose this one would work better in Sulani).
