Can I just say thank you so much! I’ve been watching your videos for a month now. I’m 33 my skin is so dry I literally tried 4 different foundations this year! All of them just make my skin look more dry or patches I was just about to give up wearing makeup which I didn’t want to do because I totally love makeup. Wow this video was so helpful, thank you so much for all of the advice! I used to not wear makeup because of my dry skin, I have struggled for years trying to find products that didn't emphasize all of the dryness. Are there any drugstore/affordable products that give a similar effect as the Jones Road Miracle Balm? Thank you again! 😁

Hi Mallory, thank you for this video again. I like the idea of taking the Face glaze underneath the make up. I do similar steps bevore make-up (I have atopy syndrome) I first use my moisterizer than the sunscreen (skin ceuticals), then primer (Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter) and then the Laura Mercier Flawless Lumiere Foundation and then all the rest. 😁

How do you think the Jones Road balm and Patrick Ta Creme Palette would work together? I have normal to dry skin. I do my skin prep, moisturize and no matter what I do in the middle or end of the day my skin feels tight, itchy and dry.

Would you rather set with a hydrating face mist or a not too drying powder for someone with dry skin?

Honestly if you don’t need powder, don’t use it! Just stick with a setting spray. I’ve done that and my dry skin looks so much healthier when I don’t powder. But, if it’s gonna be a looong day and hot out and I’m wearing a base that is glowier with less staying power, then I’ll only spot powder those areas that get a little shiny and THEN set everything with setting spray. 👌💕

I live in fear that the Laura Mercier candleglow powder will get discontinued, like it’s so underrated and I’m just not sure why …..legit a dry skin friendly powder. Love how you applied the blush, I’m adding the merit blushes to my cart right now….too pretty!

If you like glow try the Rose Glow Face Balm from The Sexiest Beauty. It gives me beautiful moisture and a wonderful glow from within. It is fantastic for my dry skin. I have rosacea and get red touching my skin lightly. You look gorgeous!💛

I found a great product for my old, dry skin. Covergirl's Clean Fresh Skincare Weightless Water Cream. Not as heavy as a balm. Balm weight my skin down and the older you get the more you don't need that, if you know what I'm saying.
