When it's time for modification I tune by ear. As a performing artist it landed on C standard six string Giganez. Moved to A flat standard RG 7 fanned fret. Settled at A standard to finish the album. Then took the high string off and found myself at G standard. This gives me the C standard I was used to and the Baritone G spot sound that I have been craving. I see no further adjustment needed.
@@flywayen2135 it's definitely a baritone tuning. this would be - and is - quite tight on my 27 inch scale length 8 string. so either play it on a 6, 7, or on a 9 string on the top 7 strings with the bottom 2 dropped.
F# sounds good when used correctly, like Messugah for example, and bongripper as well Oh yeah, and most djent bands too, yes I know, djent is not for everybody, but you gotta admit, with those insane ass rhythms, it's fucking incredible
i agree with this but only on the extent of the bass guitar. low G is on the limit of listenable for, anything below it is too low. Laugh Track by Knocked loose use Drop G tuning on the basse and its barely audible
