You can make the middle part much easier if you start from the other side. The arms are made from rings width 4,6,8 and 10 balls. start width the 10 ball ring and put the 8 ball ring on the top, while you squize it ab bit. If this fit well, the other both rings are no problem.
I can't understand middle part. I try to do it in a few ways, but only twice I got the same effect like you. I think I give up after half hour. Thanks for tutorial, but next time please show how to do things easily, for instance how many balls are you using for each layer etc.
