I have a gluten and dairy intolerance so I have to bake breads cakes and other pastries more often than other people do with special ingredients usually oat flour almond flour and coconut flour in a 3-2-1 ratio along with coconut cream for frosting.

I live in a household with two diabetics, so cakes are a no go. However I have been doing a lot of cooking/experimenting in the kitchen while watching your videos. You’re so creative and passionate when you bake, that it inspires me to try a new recipe or a difficult technique. Just last night, we had a fully vegetarian meal (not vegetarian, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the food). Black bean burgers, parsnip and sweet potato fries, homemade ketchup, and for dessert homemade watermelon sorbet. All done while watching your Mega Cake playlist (honestly my favorite). Thank you for continuing to make videos and keeping us all entertained during this time!

You can do most of this with bread too! You just use things like cream cheese instead of frosting! Not 100% sure what to replace fondant with but im sure there's something diabetic friendly out there. I have sensitive teeth that don't like sugar so I make cake breads when I want to bake and decorate.

I LOVED when you said everyone is finally washing their hands as much as you. I've been told for years that I wash my hands obsessively/compulsively. Good to know I'm in good company :-) My son has been eager to bake a cake, so we'll be baking a bundt cake with sprinkles inside before the end of the week. I'm also thinking of making a change to my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. Thank you for always being so cheerful. Your channel is one of the few I subscribe to.

I'm proud of Orhan with his slice of cake soap... lol I made my first batch of gluten free, dairy free, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies... and they turned out great! As a Baker, it's sad that I can't eat the things I bake, because I can't have gluten or dairy, but I'm learning the alternatives and they're YUM.😊

My sister and my birthday is next week so since we can’t have our party we are planning to make an epic cake together it’s going be shaped like a macaroon, pastel pink, it will be marbled on the inside. With a piñata candy surprise! It’s strawberry and lemon flavored, with a chocolate drizzle, a big dollop of whipped cream on top, and sprinkles!! I’m going to turn 14 and my sister is turning 9 we are 5 years and 1 day apart. I have been baking since I was 5 or 6 with my grandma! Ahahahaha. Decorative soaps! My grandma still has the same little soaps in her guest bath. They've been there since the early 90s, at least (and I don't remember any dust on them until recent years. Go figure) As for staying occupied, well, I've been WFH for a few years now, so it's same old, same old. Except my knit group is now meeting via vid chat. 😄

I’m due to have my first baby in July, and I had cakes booked in for almost every weekend between now and the end of May, but they’ve all had to cancel. Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries. It’s very sad. So unlike everyone else in the world, I have flour and sugar etc. So I’ll be baking some muffins and zucchini slice etc today, to stock up my freezer with easy to grab snacks, while watching How To Cake It of course 😁

I am not social distancing. I have an “essential” job. I deliver groceries to people. I figure that I don’t get in contact with them when doing it and it keeps everyone else out of the stores. So, that’s good

I also make cakes, but have found that most cakes are made for events that have large gatherings of people who don’t social distance. So, they cancel or postpone. I have made a few that were for families or people who have gathered to spend this month together at the same house shut up insider. Not nearly as many as I was doing though.

Unlimited amount of toilet paper = water. Why are western cultures so unaware of using water to wash them? They even mostly have their own clean bathroom with a sink, bathtub,shower,soap and constantly water supply so whats the problem if even other cultures who don't have all of the previous mentioned still they dont have to worry about it? If you can wash a babies poopy butt with your golden hands, then you can also wash yours and just wash your hands with soap afterwards. 1st world problems for real. :(

I’m trying to work out more at home. I’ve found that when a kitchen is readily available, I eat like a pig, rewarding myself with food for the smallest things. I did two problems of my math homework? That deserves a break, so I’ll just watch an hour of how to cake it and stuff my mouth with chips!! See my issue?
