My wife and I drove down to Marathon on December 27th. We were going on a cruise out of Miami on the 29th. That was our first time in the Keys. I am a Realtor in Morristown Tn and I wish we could have made time to visit with you and Laurie and look at some properties. Hopefully we can arrange something next time. good info setting the correct expectation about pricing around an RV slip. I except folks think they can come to the Keys on the cheap with an RV they already own, nothing I have seen in FL is cheap. I wish I could tinker around.

Yes, I'll admit Laurie and I thought years ago that we could buy a lot and live in our RV when we wanted to.....not so much. This is a neat opportunity for a winter RV'r that wants to do just that and use the home to park the RV and live in the house while they are here. Thanks for commenting and watching!

I enjoy your videos and hope to visit Marathon soon! My question involves the canals that wind through neighborhoods. It seems as though the mangroves grow very close to the edge. Who keeps the mangroves from closing in and preventing boat traffic.

Thank you for watching our videos Charles! Some neighborhoods have voluntary HOAs that raise money for mangrove trimming. Otherwise the owners keep their lots trimmed and the county can mandate they trim them if neighbors complain.

Fairly quiet there. and it is not a very densely populated area so it is one of the quieter homes we have shown in a while.

Hello fellow GA! Fast question. I see a lot of these home the owner has their boat on lifts. When hurricans come do they leave them on the lift? If you have a 40 foot boat but do not own a truck big enough to pull it

Incredible potential!!!! What a nice little house on a large gorgeous lot! I so pictured our family cleaning up the boat after a day on the water and enjoying an evening fish fry on that incredible fully screened terrace! Plenty of room to possibly build a larger home or add onto the existing house in the future!

Absolutely a nice small house with decent land but I'm having a hard time justifying almost a half million dollars for it. It's over priced in a big way.

The building rite alone is worth 200k and RV spots are going for $150. a night plus you can rent it out for $250 per night on ABB. when you're not using it. Seems like a no Brainier for an avid RVer.

You get an A for effort. But really - 1/1 with the toilet next to the kitchen 😮. When are the Keys going to be completely under water? Stone yard to park an RV but not be able to use it ? 😮. I don’t get it …$469K 😂😂 no water view, 5 miles to boat dock? LMAO. Old windows WOW. Buyers on crack asking for $469K. 😮

LOL, have you priced homes in the Keys recently? As I type this, there are currently 16 active listings for single family homes (not trailers) in all 110 miles of the FL Keys under $500,000 This home has a larger lot than any of the other listing by over 2000 square feet. The home itself is larger than most at this price point. I'll take that "A for effort" Thanks!!
