Your twistouts are ALWAYS bomb! I have to deal with an issue that you clearly have no problem with.....THIN HAIR! I get great wash-n-gos but my twistouts on freshly cleansed & conditioned hair are trash; they are defined but stringy looking. The only way for me to get a bomb twistout is to do it on a 2-3+ day old wash-n-go. That way my natural coily pattern always manages to show up and show out on my twists. I love it! So for me, my midweek wash-n-go "fresh" is a twistout that looks amazing, right out the gate! Some product combos that work for me are [1] Soultanicals Can't Believe Its Knot Butta and Cantu Wave Whip (mousse) perfect when my wash-n-go was done using cream based products. [2] Adwoa Beauty gel + oil and [3] Miche Beauty Curl Defining Butter + oil, again on top of a cream based styled wash-n-go.

Twist are my favorite style cause they come out super defined when I take them out and when I don’t want to wear them out in a twist out style, I can wear my wigs until my next wash day

Hi I enjoy your channel and respect your opinion on afro hair. I recently watched a video by Natural Nadine she states that most African American hair is high porosity by nature, when a lot of us are thinking our hair is low porosity (if it hasn't been relaxed or color treated). She references crime scene investigations where police can determine the race of a suspect based on their hair noting that most African American hair has raised cuticles ( high porsity). Please comment on this and tell me your opinion. Thank You! P.S. - I think this topic would make a great video.
How do you feel about starting the twist out on dry, stretched hair? I like some length with my twist out, so I feel like that's the only way to show any length?

Because it's the first thing I do on anyone channel I know I appreciate yall showing me how to take care of my hair but nothing yall doing really works for because I use hair Grease and I wash my hair twice a month like always I tried to do it with the oils but I don't like the feeling it leaves my hair I have to add water and a brush all my life because I have curly cotton soft hair I can't twist that's way I keep watching may be I will catch on so what if you make a mistake takeing your hair down with out oil big deal shit I never use oil. And take my hair down every time it braided do what my hair been long all my life I don't want my hair bro grow but I did use the curl curly hair products I like the nappies hair it gives me I love that nappies natural look love it's and love yo see all my sister growing their hair out to the max yes love it black sister care about their hair and it's a rule out there for them to follow yes it's really nice but when you be yelling push that like button wow it's a bit much. But I believe learn a lot of how it's works for yall and it's a beautiful thing
