At 11:30, I would have waited on the Exploration until opponent's turn, so it would turn night and Atraxa could be discarded for a Restoration in the next turn. Wouldn't have made a difference on how the game ended up going, but it would be a good way to refuel if something dire happened
I love oozes! I made an ooze and slug deck that works really well and it's got the perpetually growing oozes in there along with the sludge monster and toxrill and it's a lot of fun- I bet you'd like it! Love the fun decks you come up with.
Works pretty well, managed to hard cast it in my Stickfingers Brawl deck there might be some difficult interactions but i believe you can access the side board in historic so thats working well
@@thechristopherous789 yeah i was playing it in brawl but I didn’t turn in full control, so I accidentally let them resolve a shrine instead of cast then counter it
Match 2 was a missed opportunity for the opponent. If he had attacked with the Raiju the turn he played it, you would have had 5 less life and would die to the lightning strike in the end
I ALMOST wish: you could do something incredibly slick by leyline binding your own Jace in response to Invoke Despair, but sadly since it's a step by step creature > enchantment > planeswalker and not all three at once I'm 99.9% sure you'd just play yourself
You can't bind your own permanents, but in the hypothetical scenario where it was possible, the Binding would also be sacrificed to Invoke Despair, Jace would return to the battlefield and immediately be sacrificed to the still-resolving Invoke Despair.
I watch every video you put out anyways, but this thumbnail would have made me even if I didn't. I love how almost all of your thumbnails have a 1-4 word pun on them. 10/10.
@@LegenVD Ive always used my own decks in ranked but I cant seem to climb much lately. I get frustrated seeing people all use the same decks in the higher ranks. Your videos really inspire me to keep making new decks and keep trying to find some new tech. You really are the goat LVD, grateful for all your work man.
I just unsubbed. Not a Joke. And I wanted to thank you for all that interesting, witty and intelligent content you have been making over the years. You have been and probably are my favorite MTG content creator. It's just that my interests slowly shifted away from MTG. I remember when you had like 13k subs and I am really happy for how far you have come and wish you success and joy in what you're doing. See you :)
