Yes, I'm able to monitor each channel coming in to the FX6. The FX6 has 4 channels you can record to. I often set Ch 1 as Shoe 1 (manual), Ch 2 as Shoe 2 (manual) and then Ch 3 is Shoe 1 (auto) and Ch 4 is Shoe 2 (auto).
Love that you are using using the URX-P41D with the MI Shoe adapter that means you are not using the XLR ports correct! Which in theory you can use the Shoe mic to transmit 2 Mics (into 2 channels) and then the Two XLR ports as 2 other audio options... Let's say one shotgun mic and maybe a DJI or RODE GO mic setup in the other. So now you are getting at least 4 audio sources or 5 if you are using the DJI/Rode mics with 2 transmitters but on the same channel (obviously you would have to hear both mics at the same time but you can always record internally if you need to mute one of the tracks in post) That is a super HACK!
Just watched your video from a couple years ago where you basically explain this! Great videos: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e65Rq0g0u8I.htmlsi=nPxkTQfO_g17V7df
I love using the cinesaddle. I don't find it restrictive for the style that I shoot in (standing in one spot and picking of static shots of people/things). It isn't designed for walking shots. If I need walking shots I'll use my gimbal or an a7R5 👍
Great video, one question about the Handle Extension, do you have a different bracket on the small sony screen than what comes with the camera? If so, what is it?
I use the Tenba Cinelux 24. I used to have the 21 hightop, but found the 24 was just big enough to fit my whole camera rig in without taking anything off (minus the v-mount battery). I'll probably do a short video on my camera bag setup soon. Thanks for watching!
