This music video was done by director David Fincher in 1992... he was known for his edgy visuals and would do the films 'Fight club'... 'Gone girl'... 'Seven'... 'The girl w/ the dragon tattoo' (Hollywood version). I heard 'Who is it' in 1991 from the 'Dangerous' album... but years later, I had the experience depicted in the lyrics when my fiancee left me for someone else... ☹
The story in the video is that Michael believes his girl is cheating on him because he found a business card that has the name "Alex" on it. Turns out that she's a high class call girl who has her appearance changed for each of the clients and she introduces herself with the cards, which have different names on them. At the end of the video, she tries to run away to Michael but he's found out what she really is and abandons her, forcing her to go back.
