Using the pins to hold the cording probably gives more precision in placement. Nice straight cording, with more secure corners. Great idea.

Your teaching us is paying off, today I tried lacing two of my smalls, my first time, and at first I thought well she (you) is a professional, this is harder than it looks, but I kept going and they turned out nice. Hi Vonna, thank you so much for sharing your tutorials and time. I've been crafting and cross stitching for years and learn something new every time I watch them. Here an idea for you. I use my Christmas card I get for finishing on my perforated instead of scrap book paper. Just a thought. Thanks again have a wonderful Christmas. Can wait to see what comes next.

Nice idea! I use my Christmas cards I get by making paper ornaments with them. I’m going to do a video on those too 😊 I’ve been making ornaments for my whole married life using our recycled Christmas cards received each year and turning them into ornaments and they are some of my most cherished pieces!

Another thing to add to my to do list for next Christmas. I have never stitched on perforated paper. I immediately went to the on line shop that I use but the charts our out of stock. I put in a notification for when they're back in stock. I can't wait to try this. My cording tool is on the way to me, thanks to you 😉 You make it look so easy.
