Helicopter is a deeply technical way to get to know your wing at the stall and spin limits. Compared to my experience with Zeno 1, the controls are less abrupt and the glider responses are less aggressive, giving you slightly more time to react. Knowing your wing avoid you from getting in bad trouble in real situations and I use helicopter as one of my main benchmark. Getting out of a cravat with just a single deep braking on Zeolite 2 GT is impressive. It is friendlier than Zeno 1, quite similar in performance, and I am very impressed about ease of use in strongly active air, robustness, stability at top speed as well as super low speed stability.
Training in acrobatic maneuvers increase your safety margin immensely during your normal flying. However learning acro is potentially very dangerous. You have been warned!
