Check out QuickCPU! It's a pretty awesome program that does a lot on the CPU and RAM as well and you can use it instead of ISLC for clearing RAM. It shows the temps, you can change settings, increase performance, and much much more.

Performance fixes for American Truck Simulator, Euro Truck Simulator 2, and more games that I've played with like Phasmophobia and Demonologist to get higher graphics that allowed or stability. This may not work for everyone or require different settings. This is an attempt to fix frame drops, lag, stuttering, or rubber banding issues. V-Sync is typically recommended to prevent screen tearing.
NvidiaProfileInspector only works on Windows 10 and older, and there is also another version on their site. Windows 10 or 11 users can still use the Nvidia Control Panel with great results by essentially using the same settings or so! Those with G-Sync monitors may need to adjust certain settings, and I'd recommend looking into it more if you're still having issues.
- I have since then upgraded to Windows 11 but continue to use Quick CPU, and I've set it to max and always run in the background.
Consider checking out other software but be safe of malware and more. Quick CPU can be useful, but also be sure to check CPU temps and stress test with Prime95 64bit.

Prime95, stress test your CPU, be careful and stop it if your CPU gets too hot during a test. It depends on what you have, and hopefully this isn't an issue; however, games will run worse if you're overheating. 💾 Clear Up Hard Drive Space, Add Virtual Memory, and maybe change hard drives. Use ISLC to refresh memory.

🗔 Change Windows Settings or overlays, gamebar. Change PhysX to force GPU in the Nvidia Control Panel. Adjust monitor display and colors.

🗔 G-Sync users may need to find additional information, but my friend still had it run fine with V-Sync on Phasmophobia 120fps. He noticed 144Hz caused his monitor to be darker.
