Man, it’d be nice to have enough desk that you can set it on top and you know not have children that could possibly throw your PC tower on the floor. So it cracks me up about RGB and aesthetic. I’ve never had my PC on the desk.
Performance >>> Aesthetics Tbh.. i am always on a tight budget regarding my PC components so its natural that i tend to emphasize power way more than looks.. it can be fucking pink for all i care but if it delivers enough.. its a yes..
@@Penguin5z Oh no no.. i have no objections with Pink my guy.. if the aesthetics look good in pink, then pink it is.. it's just the fact that the usual pc is black or dark themed.. so pink is a bit abstract like that.. So i said pink in that regard.. i like pink 😇
@@i_like_Peanuts ah ok makes sense, pink is one of my favorite colors but yes i do have to admit a pc is a bit of a odd place for the color. unless pink is the whole theme of the setup which would be pretty unique.
@@Penguin5z pink pcs can look pretty cool the thing that sucks is for a good looking pink rgb it’s expensive because cheap fans normally have bad pinks
This generally made me laugh like seriously how could you be that stupid no one looks at their PC for hours I mean yeah look at it for like 5 seconds the most
i've been getting his videos recommended for a while... he has so many idiotic takes and is misleading and spreads misinformation regularly. i hope noobs arent taking this guys advice. im going to hit the "dont recommend channel" button now
Yeah but if it's on your desk right next to your computer, you are gonna see it a lot. Obviously not everyone has the same setup. But still, it's not rocket science.
That's a very good point my PC is always under my desk as well so why would I care about looks as long as it runs well and can play VR I'm happy oh yeah and also if it can run OBS of course
No. Save it. You have to save and use your money to put rgbs and cool looking fans and temperature displays on a Nintendo GameCube. Listen to the professional buddy. He knows what he’s talking about. All his stuff looks top of the line and that’s all that anybody would want from a computer obviously. I recommend you start small and hire an interior designer to plan out the fengshui and temple for your centerpiece pc
@@cam5816 I can understand where he's coming from, but he's assuming that people have enough money to get hardware that is better than just decent, thus it can be downgraded to make space in the budget for aesthetics. Like, I understand that many people keep their PCs on their desks, but not everybody has that kinda space, so they keep it on the floor. Also, most people don't have another room for their PC, so they put in their bedroom, in which case, the non-switchable lights on some of the will get annoying (speaking from experience), so they'll get the ones without it
@@thechannel-24-7 False. Whether its on the desk, or under it, it's still going to collect the same amount of dust because of the Fans. In fact, logically having something over the PC, like a desk, will protect it from additional dust settling on it.
Performance over aesthetics any day of the week, and twice on Sundays. I get the point Zach, but no, most people don't care. There are plenty of people wo don't even look at their PCs, they have them under their desk or behind their monitors.
@@anso3886 Ive had my pc be on my left when I gamed, it had rgb internals and holy shit was it annoying. The light always kept blinding me so I turned the rbg off.
I actually disable the RGB fans on my PC at night , cause I leave the window open and that shit is as bright as a ceiling light, and mosquitos come in.
@@B-legion that sounded kind of mean lol but I was just saying that they arnt stupid expensive anymore like they used to be and you could potentially build a 1440p pc for only $600 now with out monitor and kbm tho
@@skittlescopes4832I disagree, people don't get computers cause they think a big box with rainbow puke looks nice, they get it to look at THE MONITOR, or at least that's what I do.

Dude. It’s a fkin giant tower in your room, if u want an ugly black box taking up the view, that’s on you. But my setup is probably 100$ more expensive then yours and looks 10x better. Once you spend 2k+ on something like a pc, there’s no good argument to not make it look good.
@@skittlescopes4832not even 100. just spend 20$ more on a nice case with argb fans, 5$ more for RGB ram, and 10$ on GPU and Motherboard cable extensions (since they're pretty much the only visible cables) and you're set. now your PC looks very nice.
@@skittlescopes4832Yeah but who said his build is 2K+ ? Inaccurate to assume everyone has a 2k build. The more commonly range is between 750$ and 1000$ which make it normal to not care about aesthetic if it costs 100$ more.
Aesthetics are important, HOWEVER performance is even more important. Best to find a balance between both (especially if your on a budget, although aesthetics takes a backseat for budget)
Im kinda middle of the way here, i built a amazing looking pc with even what some call perfect cable management but i have a solid side panel which means i cant see the inside anyway , so its basically a black box from the outside that performs like a beast ,but if you open the side panel you can appreciate the beauty and time that went in it
Nah sleeper builds are awesome. My current build looks amazing, but because it looks so good I can’t bring myself to put it below my desk. If I could do that, I’d have way more desk space and maybe even space for a third monitor.
I remember when I was building my pc I couldn’t care less about aesthetics. I just wanted performance. Funny thing is when I booted it up and installed the drivers suddenly the whole thing started glowing like a Christmas tree. To the point where I’ve had to disable some lights as the pc (especially at night) just hurts to look at.
I don't stare at my pc, I stare at my monitor. Besides I've got 3 nf-a12's on the way rn and I could care less if their colour scheme matches my other parts.
I never ever ever stare at my PC for hours. I stare at the screen. My PC is actually behind my wall in a cubby area of un-walkable space due to the A frame style of the house. If I could get a case for my PC that looks like a cardboard box but more durable than cardboard I'd do it. Aesthetics just tells me you care about the color more than the performance.
A while ago a friend of mine went out on a quest to find the oldest junkiest most beaten up case possible to build the ultimate sleeper PC. He spent something like 2.5 K on it to. The best bit was the screen he got the front off an old giant CRT tv. He kept the natural layer of dust on both of them and put some kind of clear finish over the top entombing the dust...He had way too much free time but it was so cool when it was finished.
Honestly though. If you want RGB, get LED strips instead and maybe a couple RGB fans instead of going full-out. I think I’m going to do that if I ever build. I’ll put the strips around the inside of the case and have the AIO block be RGB (I like having the RGB for night).
I have my PC in a $40 mid tower that doesnt even have hinged doors. It just has thumb screws to take the panels off. I love it. This PC can crush 4k gaming with ray tracing between its teeth and it looks like an office PC from 2007.
Yeah I need too disagree with you. Not because I don't have a good looking PC, but because I would rather recommend something that looks worse and performance better for a lot of people. Like my brother doesn't look at his PC and it is under the table. I do understand why he doesn't want to pay more for a good looking PC. He just wants something that works. Same goes for a friend of mine. So it always depends on the person. But I rather recommend a better PC and then if you want it to look good to make that later and don't use that budget now. Because making it look better is easier and cheaper then to make it perform better after buying it
Almost all PC parts have RGB and non-RGB are almost nonexistent. I was one of those that had a "sleeper build" years back, but my current gaming PC certainly isn't a sleeper. The PC still looks nice under the desk, and the lights are an easy way for me to see if the PC is on. I guess you could build a sleeper build but you're not really saving any money. I could out my PC on top of my desk but I don't really like the PC taking up real estate I could be using for something else, like another monitor
My first rig was put into a solid steel 4U server chassis with holes drilled into the sides for the monster liquid lines. No lights, no fancy anything. Just a steel box with a res and rad screwed into the top.
I reused an old PC case from an HP computer from around the late 2000s in a new build and im perfectly happy with it. Amazing thermals, its a beast at games, and honestly just an amazing built. It looks bad, but on the inside, its a power house
Aesthetics are for kids and those with more money than sense. You can build a better $750 build than you offer if you ignore aesthetics. You want a white GPU. That's a 20% markup over the grey or black. That's usually enough of a gap to get to the next card up
aesthetics are for people who aren't lazy and lack critical thought. You can make a PC look nice with cheap colors like grey and black, just add in a couple accents here and there. People spray paint the backplate on their GPU all the time as well. Theres so much you can do to make it look nice, you're just making up excuses lol.
