Yess they were one of the last 3rd generation groups which did cute concepts. They grew up so we have to move on but rookie astro will always have a special place in every Aroha‘s heart

I kid you not, this was probably one of the most difficult songs my group had to cover. Everytime we finished practicing we were out of breath, but it was super fun to learn and to dance once we got the hang of it!
Watching Sanha in Hide&Seek while getting more teasers for Monbin&Sanha debut really give same feeling as watching your reaction to NCT Dream's Chewing Gum then Ridin. He wore brace and was so thin for his height. Even Bin said that he looked like a sick kid XD But now he looks so mature, handsome, and quite bulky too!
And look where they are now 😭😭 MJ doing Jamie Musical and debuted with a new trot group Eunwoo with Jipsabu and filming True Beauty + booked and busy with all these shoot for magazines Sanha and Bin as MCs for Show Champ and debuting and subunit soon Rocky as MC and being active for Chinese Arohas and Jinjin might be doing something for future schedules. Looking how much they have grown, I’m really really proud of them 💜💜
Ok now that u see their first MV and you say the word "dimension" u need to look and search for all the theories about the MVs, lyrics, teaser, album´s names, cause there is a lot of crazy theories about that ASTRO is in another dimension trying to communicate with AROHA and all start with this MV.

according to astro, this is one of their most tiring title track choreography. and yes i so agree. by watching them do this, everything was so detailed per beat given that the song has indeed a lot of beats and it's fast and energetic. :)
just one thing is for sure...that ASTRO has a unique choreography and having a sweet image concept really suit them well...thats the reason why at my age I become a fan of them...
Hey Jeff thank u for the reaction..I really missed our CUTESTRO😭😭.. PLUS the transitions in this choreo were incredible..If u look at it carefully, they r never at the same place for more than 7secs..This choreo was indeed breathtaking
Seeing Hide and Seek again, makes me realize why i had the feeling of deja vú when i saw Crown from TXT. It was the hard choreo, and the palette of colors. I will always have in my heart my kings Astro, as the owners of the cute concept. I don't like the cute concept to much, but Astro and TXT are exceptions to that. Also, Astro are the most lighter dancers i've ever seen in Kpop, like, they're not jumping around they're flying, as if their foots didn't touch the ground
Another great underrated group (like Astro) is Infinite. I know you checked out "The Eye," but you should really try checking out some of their other songs like "The Chaser," "Back," "Bad," "Last Romeo" (I think you'll like the choreo for this one), "Paradise," "Tell Me," and "Clock" sometime. Infinite are also great dancers and great singers, and they are the true underdogs of the Kpop industry. They definitely deserve more attention and credit, and I think you might like them if you try listening to more of their songs. 😊
They were in another dimension in this video.. if u noticed in all ASTRO'S music video, they are always in a different dimension, trapped in something magical :) and trying to connect to people in their dreams.. this is also connected to their other video "Confession" And they continued the other dimension concept until now... its like before they debuted, fantagio music already planned their journey.
Everytime I hear this song, I remember why I love them (my ult group) because of their bright/refreshing concept. I always catch myself smiling at my screen with them! 💜 It's impossible to not smile when you see this, and it's amazing how far they've come and grown from here. Thank you for the reactions! @Jeff yes, it's actually two dimensions or alternate realities being connected to each other. For instance, you can see at 4:08 the girl drew a triangle and eunwoo subsequently drew an inverted one, which together, creates the symbol of Astro

ASTRO's smiles are really contagious hahaha. When I watch Hide & Seek (or other MVs from early eras), it makes me smile and happy (and also cry at the same time lol,,, they grew/are growing up so well)
I was incredibly in love with Astro during their first few years as rookies. I miss this bright concept from them so much but as happy as I am that they developed and evolved, I did not evolve with them since I much enjoy their older music. Either way I'm glad you checked this out :)
I love Astro for being one of those groups who have explored more mature sounds as they've grown but who don't shame or regret their older, cute-as-heck stuff?!? I know you mainly focus on dance but can you react to Superfive. Its a new trot idol group, Mj and Pentagon Hui is part of this group. They just debuted with their song All eyes on me and Hello. I never listen to trot music but I love this group and their songs.

Hide & seek is one of my favorite debut songs its amazing all-around. their cute fun concepts are super refreshing kings of vocals and synchronization since debut
Your analysis of the meaning is spot on. It’s different dimensions but when Astro performs Aroha can be with them. It’s basically the same story in most their MVs. This even includes “Knock” since they are searching the universe to be with Aroha. It’s kind of more sad now thinking about it since COVID.

Aaaahhh after reading moonbin's book interview I can't help but see this choreo in another light, this is indeed an really exhausting choreography and I am so proud of the boys, this is a really good debut, I hope more people had realized then TT including me
I loooooove this song so much to this day. I got into them right away because the song was so catchy and the colors in the MV were so bright. And then I watched them perform on music shows and couldn't BELIEVE how stable their vocals were with that kind of choreo for only JUST debuting. I had to stan them then and there and I never looked back.

Yea everyone used to be almost the same height then eunwoo, moonbin and Sanha wouldn't stop growing then eunwoo and moonbin finally stopped and Sanha is STILL growing
Astro also has a pre-debut web drama series called "To be continued"! Rocky and Moonbin had dancing scenes to two of their unreleased songs 'Go Back' and 'Dark Choco Legs'! (I really wish they would make full versions...) 🤗
Astro Hide & Seek Dance Practice is my 1st vid that i've watched & downloaded when i discovered abt them. And they'd captured my heart right away... i've been addicted watching this whenever i am. Watching this MV through your video now gives me goosebumps. Our (Arohas) theories say that their MVs are all related to each other and eventually led to Knock's MV which is also now their identity film. As you know, Knock is about finally finding Arohas and revealing their true selves for the Rohas. Their past MVs (just like this one) show how they long to be with the fan but just cannot because "it's not yet the time". The time was Knock, so now they are experimenting on more diverse and mature concepts - their true selves.

They were all similar heights here because Sanha hadn't grown to his giant self yet. During debut, Eunwoo was the tallest member. Sanha grew taller over the years, and I'm sure Rocky took on a few more inches as well, making him taller than Jinjin and MJ. P.S. I recommend watching their pre-debut stages where they had to cover different songs as a means of getting selected into the final group. They had to perform in front of an audience and even on trucks with stages attached (the stage would shake so much because of their power it was a bit scary tho)
This is one of the songs I listen to that are guaranteed to make me happy. I miss cute astro so much >-< but it’s really been amazing seeing them grow from this to where they are now. I’m glad you got to experience astro at debut cuteness!
