the guy you mentioned “lilac hair”, his name is taeyang and he’s the one who choreographed the chorus of the song. yeokshi(as expected) main dancer taeyang!!! side note: if you want another sf9 song to add to your playlist; my favourite from their last album is called “am i the only one”. it’s a song that speaks to my soul and LORD the vocals and production are to die for. it’s a b-side track and there’s only an audio available but i definitely recommend it to you jeff, i know you’ll appreciate how beautiful it is!

Literally anyone who watches SF9 knows that Taeyang is the main dancer, and that's not to take away from the others because the rest of the dance line are fantastic and the other members really hold their own but he has that energy. It's the Kai effect; he's a ultimate exo fanboy and Kai is his bias it's so cute he talks about him all the time and covers like all their songs.

He should react to taeyangs solo dances though like his recent one jannet jackson burn it up :) .

i would HIGHLY recommend you to watch their choreo for "unlimited", which is a b-side from the same album as "now or never". It is seriously my favourite choreo of them and it was entirely choreographed by one of their members: Taeyang (the guy with the lilac hair)

For real you should check 'K.O' dance practice and 'Jungle Game' as they have pinwheel dance and transformer dance respectively. Both dance are from their first year of debut and they already hold such a hard performance to that!

There’s an eclipse near the beginning of the video and the darkness shows them with guns out and all that... it’s only when the window is shot out and the light comes in that they go back to normal (they shoot out the rest of the windows!) and the dance scene at the end is all in light

taking every chance to plug sf9 content because i love them a lot. the other guy you mentioned with the clean footwork and the light blue jeans and dark t-shirt; his name is chani and he’s the maknae, he’s also another main dancer and an all round amazing performer. since you’re an actor yourself i wanna recommend the show chani was part of called “sky castle” on netflix. it’s a show that broke many records in korea and became so famous outside of it (still one of my favourite shows to date) chani is so young and did so freaking well playing such a beautiful character on that show. ANOTHER MEMBER: rowoon (the talllest member and a beautiful dancer and vocalist) is also an actor; he played the main lead in a recent drama called “extraordinary you” and is also another favourite show of mine. SORRY FOR THE SPAM BUT I LOVE ME SOME SF9!!

That brown haird guy in jeans at the dance practice was Chani, Astro rocky bestfriend. They had been practicing together for almost 10years, I believe there's some of their dance video practice in Rocky instagram. Oh and they had their special performance in kcontact last month. They both are really amazing dancer!

I love SF9, but I'm not gonna sugar coat that this dance practice seemed sloppy for them. I still like the choreography, but they just didn't seem polished... maybe they released it too quickly.

*_Unpopular opinion:_* For the drop (3:29 & 6:09), I think Jaeyoon (Black hair, white shirt) executed the move the best. The way his body smoothly moves makes it really sexy and it was actually hard to perform (I looked stupid trying to copy it). And his arms got bigger which makes the move a 100x sexier. Try watching his solo fancam and his body rolls just slaps you in the face. I think this era is definitely Jaeyoon’s. The dance, the song, the visuals and the concept just fits him.

The concept/hidden meaning of the MV may be found in some of the objects/events that you can find there; the Solar Eclipse, the Golden Snake, the changing of the eye color, the broken mirror, the sun shining on after the gunfight, etc... take note too that during the gunfight, they weren't actually shooting each other...
