Performing on Percussion with John Legend: MusiCares 2020 - "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" 

Throwback to the 2020 MusiCares Person(s) of the Year concert, in tribute to Aerosmith. This all-star tribute/benefit concert happens the night before the GRAMMY Awards, and I have had the honor of performing on a couple of these shows as the house band percussionist over the years (under the direction of Greg Phillinganes for the Aerosmith tribute, and under Don Was for the Fleetwood Mac tribute). On the above show, we backed John Legend, Jonas Brothers, Gary Clark Jr., Sammy Hagar, Kesha, Jessie J, LeAnn Rimes, Emily, King, Gavin DeGraw, Melissa Etheridge and others... and I got to see the Foo Fighters and Cheap Trick perform from a few feet away onstage next to me!
Really looking forward to this year's 2023 tribute! (2023 MusiCares will be in tribute to Berry Gordy and Smokey Robinson)
