@@kyle_vr absolu is a 10/10 perfect fragance, profumo is a 9/10 almost perfect fragance, you will get the same amount of compliments with both, but absolu will make you feel more confident and masculine, profumo is more powdery...

Idk, I think I find lots of things feminine that maybe are not just due to any overuse of florals, sweetness, or being powdery, but I've heard things described as powdery that are not to me. Profumo is a bit powdery, but it is very sweet, powdery, and soft, and I think that and Givenchy Gentleman Reserve and Dior Homme Intense are all so feminine they could easily be women's scents, but then the same is true of Tom Ford's Black Orchid.
Code Absolu is one of my favorites. I recently found it at a beauty shop in a local outlet shopping mall for $45, 110ml. It was actually the last one. Lady said they had loads and sold all of them. I almost bought a female one by mistake. Then I asked her if she could look for anymore of the male version. She remember one in the front window of the shop. I think it checked-out as a 2019 batch. Smells perfectly amazing just like every other example I’ve smelled. $45US you have to be kidding me, this is the best fragrance purchases I’ve ever made. Scent and price, amazing retail store find etc... 😁🤩😏🥰🥰🥳

I ordered Onyx and it arrived yesterday and holy sh!t its amazing. VERY well done Aaron, you made my two favorite rose scents smell like old socks by comparison. I WILL be getting more. This is a masterpiece, please never discontinue it or I will be very sad. It is officially my "signature scent". I also greatly appreciate the effort you took in packing it to make damn sure it arrived safely and intact. I'm ordering the larger bottle when I run out. 5 stars, 10/10.
I smelled this in store and I had to stop myself from buying it for me. I don't know why I did. I can wear whatever I want, marketing be damned! I'm getting a bottle of this. Thanks for sharing!
I absolutely love watching your reviews. I think it's the passion that keeps bringing me back. I love watching people that are passionate about what they do, especially when it comes to art...perfumery, cooking, music, etc. I feel in the art world so many have lost their way. They traded passion for attempted money or fame. When you see that spark in a person, it makes all the difference...the quality is second to none.

I received Absolu last week as a gift and am already in love with the scent. Already thinking about purchasing a large backup bottle incase they reformulate this. Definitely signature-scent worthy.

I own both Armani Code Absolu and Armani Code Profumo. Both are discontinued but can still be found online here and there. I buy a lot of cologne, probably 40 bottles in the past few years alone, and I must say that these two are my favorite colognes. When I spray these on I feel I smell nice. Profumo is a tiny bit sweeter than Absolu but they are very similar. I also went to Bloomingdales the other day and tried on Parfum De Marly Althair. Very similar to these as well. I love, love, loved that too. I didnt buy it but I will most likely be my next purchase.get any of these 3 and you cant lose.

@@marshjj3788 I did pick up Code Absolu, special price $88 for 200ml and it's as good as everyone says. Pretty incredible, like a warm hug on a winter's day.
@@ohfour-seven6228 Nice man. Don't waste your money on the code parfum it's a mish-mash of other sweet designer fragrances and it lasts 2-3 hours on my skin. Like One Million once that fizzy fruity opening goes it smells garbage tbh.

I had to get the big bottle of this one when it came out, even paid full retail which I never usually do. This and Tom Ford Noir Extreme are my "signature" nighttime fragrances
Sought this out after watching Aaron’s review and immediately fell for it. It’s everything as described in the video. I’m also reminded of one of the ATH fragrances during dry down, which is fabulous in itself.
This one is fantastic on me i’ve never gotten so much attention from a fragrance before from women and it performs like a monster gentlemen no more than three sprays if you spray four times I promise you people across the room can smell you and if that’s what you want then go for it 100% I’ve had people ask me what I was wearing with wide eyes and enthusiasm before it’s so amazing I have to admit this is an absolute masterpiece even though it’s a designer fragrance

VERY late to this party as it's been discontinued and you may never see this, but I ordered a sample of this recently and it was fantastic. But I'm not sure I was sent Code Absolu, I was sent a little decant that SAYS Code Absolu on it. Sprayed it on a square of tp, and it smells immediately of watermelon rind, cucumber, watery notes, this stuff smells like a Caribbean vacation. Even better on the skin. I liked it so much I bought a full bottle from a re-seller. New, sealed in box. Smelled it... There is just absolutely no way these two are the same cologne. It's not a horrible smell, but it's about as different as Sospiro Vibrato vs. Drakkar Noir. In a head-to-head comparison these just can't be the same fragrance. This stuff smells like I'm shoving my nose in a bouquet of grocery store roses, like it's a syrupy rose extract, with a heady lavender and a very minor chocolate hit. And the opening smelled like straight-up nail polish remover. I'd love to know what you think I should be smelling here, because from the reviews I've seen, it shouldn't smell like the decant does. The decant smells like it would be perfect with a Hawaiian shirt and a refreshing adult citrus spritzer kind of drink. So what do you think is going on here, was I duped on the sample? Or perhaps was the bottle of Absolu that I got wrecked by probably sitting in a 12,000 degree garage for a year before this person sent it to me?
I can tell this thing is making you go crazy. That's what I was hoping.. that you like it and give it high marks. This has a special place in my heart, I love the smell and feel of quality. Cheers!
I’ll have to smell this again now that my nose has developed more. I remember wearing this a few times and being put off by a strange almost petrol type smell.
Now that you say that i know what you mean but then again I enjoy smelling like petrol! Dior Fahrenheit goes straight up gasoline stained leather jacket on my skin so sexy
@@patrickbateman4541 Oh I love Fahrenheit! But I think what bothers my nose with Code Absolu is there’s a sort of fuzziness that I find a irritating. Absolu has a suede accord so maybe that’s why?
It's been discontinued, unfortunately. Armani is liquidating it's remaining stock currently. I just picked up 400ml. 200ml bottles are $88 with promo code "secretaccess".
I had it since last year as a gift and really hated it as i could only smell sweetness. I gave it a chance today and few hours after I love it, so different from all the amber/wood/our/leather perfumes i usually like for cold seasons
Could be my favourite fragrance out of the 37 I own . Absolutely fantastic. Must get another bottle as back up . If only all my other frags were as good 🤔🙄. Cheers Aaaron

There’s a fragrance private line released in 2019 from Chopard called Garden of the kings (the perfumer was Alberto Morillas) Chopard uses in this line oud Assafi as it’s dominant note,I fell in love with it. I absolutely recommend this line to you to do a review of one of these exceptional fragrances. PS. I have the agar Royal).
I can literally buy any fragrance you like since apparently we have similar taste haha :) On that note you might like 1740 from Histoires de Parfums (history of perfumes) which to me in the dry down is so sweet and sexy
It's the best blind buy I've ever purchased. I've had it for a week and outbof 70 bottles this has leaped into my top 3. Masterpiece gets thrown around too often but it's applicable here. 10/10.
I was never interested in Armani fragrances as they appear too generic to me. But I fully trust your taste and since you love it so much I am probably gonna order it :)
Aaron, a question for you: we know fragrances are reformulated all the time unfortunately, is it really impossible to keep producing a successful product keeping the same smell and performance for years? Why they always change for the worse? What's your opinion as a perfumer?
