Reviewing 'Bad Boy Extreme' from Carolina Herrera. www.aaronteren... Instagram - AaronTerenceHughes #FragranceReview #AaronTerenceHughes # Music: Sleepdebt - I C U
I'd like to make a personal message to you Aaron. My mother fell sick and was hospitalized on November 28. Diagnosed with advanced cancer she passed on December 29th. In the last few months of her life I took her on a trip where I wore Oxycontin every day which she loved. On the hospital visits, I wore Santal Extreme, Daddy and Oxycontin. Your fragrances were the highlight of her day, in her last month of her life. At the Wake and Funeral Mass I wore an oldie, Celestia, appropriate for the occasion, sprayed it in her coffin and around her. She's going to Our Maker smelling of the House of Aaron Terrance Hughes. Thank you, your fragrances brought joy to my dying mother, and solice to me, her grieving son. May your continued creative endeavors be Blessed.
Very touching story, it's amazing how much scent can bring certain emotions and memories. I'm glad you got to spend the last few moments with your mother before saying goodbye.❤
Absolutely thrilled with your fragrance reviews! Your preferences perfectly match mine, making your insights a treasure trove for me. 🎉 Just snagged my first Carolina Herrera - Saffron Lazuli. Was eyeing True Oud inspired by you but Saffron Lazuli captured my attention more. Would be awesome to see your take on Saffron Lazuli. Keep the fragrant magic coming! P.S. Carolina Herrera is from Venezuela, not México. ;)
Notes in this perfume SHINE when they come to DRYDOWN.give it some time and when someone SNIFF THE WIFF in the AIR its a great scent. Just like KALAN BY PDM. Not good in start almost unbearable but once its settled down.its a brilliant perfumery😏✌️
I bought this before last Christmas and have been delighted with it. 10 hours in and I've been asked what I'm wearing, interesting how well it develops over long hours. I made the mistake of layering it with Chanel No.5 , my barber opened the door and windows, I think he was getting choked out.
I’m surprise that you didn’t like this perfume. I love this perfume especially its dry down! This is my most complimented perfume! It’s funny because when I bought it, I said in my head, ‘Aaron would love it.’ I’m your fan 💗
Have you tried Carolina Herrera's private blend like stallion leather and mystery tobacco I think there are 16 altogether in this range they are stunning pricey but worth it
@@christosnicolaides7707 unfortunately I’ve never tried them, but now I’m really curious to try them. Leather & tobacco my favorite notes. Thanks for mentioning them
I sampled this last night. an hour in it smelled amazing. The sweet start was replaced. I gave it a 10. First it was a 9, but after the dry down I bumped it to a 10. I had low expectations for this contrary to you. So it exceeded my expectations.
Could you maybe review Kenzo Homme Parfum (2022)? Quite Unique fragrance I wonder what you'd think about it. Kenzo fragrances in general have gone under the radar.
I agree, if it says "Extreme" it should smell like the orginal, but more oomph to it and leave a trail as you walk. Too many fragrances seem to bring out "Extreme" versions but fail so badly. It's just a rip off and not good for customer loyalty to a brand.
I have the edt. I think it's okay for everyday use. With the edt version I realized that I dont like the cocoa top note. You must try it before you buy it.
Elixirs extremes intense absolu all words used to push a fragrances sailability yeah they may have a slightly higher percentage of naturals and oils but ultimately designer fragrances cannot match the performance of niche houses. I always feel now that the extra money niche houses ask for is worth it because you get better raw materials and performance. The best designer fragrances ever created in opinion are Fahrenheit parfum tom ford noir extreme bleu de Chanel parfum and Dior homme intense maybe even jpg elixir. Nothing exciting happens in the designer sector anymore. But niche houses are constantly improving Carolina Herrera's private blend fragrances are absolutely stunning
If you like perfumery, you have to love these reviews it’s a non negotiable. Would love to see Amouage interlude Black Iris review, as I am aware that you aren’t the biggest fan of Iris generally, for yourself personally.
Just some friendly advice … please go back to the last background you had on your videos . The plain black screen behind you is too harsh . Fantastic reviews by you sir . Keep it going
Hey Aaron! Hope you are doing well. A bit unrelated to the video, but I am currently looking for an Oud fragrance to add to my collection and knowing that you are very familiar with it and hold a liking to it, I was hoping you could do an Oud video showing us your favorites and most recommended. I very much only look up to your opinion on fragrances as I love your professionalism. Would love to try out your Ouds but you are sold out, as expected. Much appreciated.
I'm feeling redundant to get the bad boy extreme just like the original bad boy edt exactly because of the chocolate and cocoa note I'm really not a fan of that smell in a fragrance. I have the Bad boy Cobalt and it is really good I love it. Can you do a review of Carolina Herrera 212 VIP Black EDP , it would be great to see your opinion on it , it is one of my favorites. :)
I just bought this and it gives me a serious headache in the opening and the first few hours....I hear what you are saying about the metallic side, hours later on the dry down its more acceptable but think I'll give it to my sone as he likes it and I cant take the few hours before its dries down
Is it me or has Perfumer's Apprentice stopped carrying Cedramber? Or has it been discontinued? LOVE Cedramber, also CME (Cedryl Methyl Ether) in a formulation.
Aaron, since you like rose fragrances, you might like Rosewood by Arabian Oud! It's the best thing I've smelt recently, and I would really love to see what you think of it as a perfumer!
ARON,you top top man for calling it biscuit, gets on my tits to hear British frag reviewers call it cookie, drives my up the bleeding wall, good on ya fellah, abroad, living, but sticks to what ya know ,love it .
