I really liked Bad Boy when I tried it, but many RU-vid reviewers gave bad reviews for it so I somehow just forgot it.. I'm glad you liked it, I think I need to try this again!
It received bad reviews because of its not-so-innovative creation. Mainly because its name is Bad Boy that the people had high hopes for it being THE fragrance when they forgot is Carolina Herrera's fragrance which is bound to be another mainstream blue fragrance. The new Le Parfum or Eau de Parfum which was stated on the box is releasing this year and apparently, they added weed into it.
Some RU-vidrs give good reviews to things that suck and give bad reviews to things that are good.. a lot of the RU-vidrs have a price so always go with your instincts and what you like
Absolutely agree about the well-blended lemon, I LOVE those soft white musky lemon scents but it’s almost as if it’s a hard thing to pull off because a lot of the lemon-scented perfumes end up smelling like a cleaning product... it’s almost as if the lemon is paired with other bitter-smelling notes or jam-packed with other citruses. But ooooooohhh when the lemon works... I do love it.
Yeah, unfortunately a lot of the fragrance community likes to follow hype trains/hate trains and don't bother to actually test and experience fragrances like this one. I've been on the fence about buying it for quite a while now but I'm definitely ordering it now after watching this review. Aaron always keeps it real and that's a rarity nowadays and much appreciated!

Love this one! Comes off creamy and slightly warm but at the same time bright and energetic. Hits me a bit like diesel-masculine which is another of my favorites.

The bottle is the only bad point. But I don’t review packaging. This is great for £50. Sweet, vanilla, tonka with some sandalwood notes. It’s the best cheap one I’ve found for longevity and projection
I just got bad boy le parfum and it's awesome. You might want to check it out cuz if you like the original then you should love the new one. It's got this whole cannabis, pepper, grapefruit thing going on... its fabulous
Have you tried bad boy le parfum?? Smells absolutely nothing like the original so you have to judge it on it’s own. But I think it’s a lot better and more original and stronger and I love the cannabis note.
Without watching this video I want to give my opinion. For a while, I've been trying to find a cocoa, warm vanilla-type scent but with a bit of sweet scent to it so it smells just right. This hits it right on the mark. I have the EDT and it does everything I've asked in that scent description. I'm not a cologne connoisseur but I found this cologne appealing and most will too. A good blind buy IMO but as many other people say some other colognes do a better job. I personally am a Bleu de Chanel kind of guy so if you want the same vibe but in a warm cocoa vanilla scent, this one is for you.
212 from CH was one of my first loves for this brand but having that said, I can't believe you rate this so high. This to me smells like Invictus Silver Cup which I really hated at the time but what do I know from perfumery LOL. I guess we all have diff scents that pleases our senses after all. I really like the Le parfum version of this Bad Boy. Thanks, for all your videos.
I'm so glad you also like this one! I think it is a beautiful cool weather fragrance! It's well rounded and sweetened just right. I also agree the packaging is a little silly but it's kind of endearing in a silly way. I bought it today and loved to see someone appreciating it too
Listening to Aaron stating Iso E Super and/or Ethyl Maltol in every scent makes me wonder how creative this industry is by just reusing the same materials over and over. The base seems to be the same across the board.
Just got this. I'm still 50 / 50 on it because of the uniqueness you mentioned; I can't decide if it's "too unique" or "loud" for me. I do love the way it smells and find it a little addictive
Great review as always, thank you for you for the work you put in. When I first smelled the original, I enjoyed it. It's different enough to separate itself from others. I think you will like the EDP version. Grapefruit, cannabis such a nice opening.
I personally prefer CH Bad Boy Cobalt EDP Électrique. A superior fragrance in the CH Bad Boy line. Aaron I recommend CH Bad Boy Cobalt! You won't be disappointed.
I agree. I bought testers cause I was curious about CH Good Girl and I got Bad Boy and Bad Boy Cobalt. Bad Boy to me smelled kinda meh, but BB Cobalt I'd enjoy on a man.
Curly fragrance also made a comment once on her channel about ethnicity and skin in relation to fragrance. Very casual she reviewed one particular fragrance would smell great on a dark skin black man. At first I thought she was just talking about optics matching the scent, like when you guys say date night or office or even older and younger. But she was talking about the chemistry the same way you spoke about middle eastern skin. I find that topic very interesting. I wish you could talk more about it.
I usually agree with ATH’s reviews of my favorites and have been happy with blind buys based solely on ATH’s opinions. I would sample this one first, it’s rather pungent and very sweet. Thanks as always for your honesty.
Make sure you’re not getting this confused with the Parfum. That one is pungent with the cannabis note. I don’tlike it…. But I really like the EDT. It is far from pungent to me. Sweet and smooth.

Some famous reviewers find it boring, and I totally disagree. Thanks for the review and the honest opinion. I agree with you, I love this scent, it's a compliment getter and the ladies love it. In the dry down, 'Bad boy' gives me Versace Eros vibe.
I think a lot of reviewers tend to say the same thing as they don’t want the rejection! But I see myself as a reviewer second and a perfumer first. I also don’t look for validation of my own thoughts from Others. I am a free thinker

Love your reviews Aaron! You talk a lot about different types of white Musks being used in almost every fragrance. It would be great if you could do a video and talk about Musks in perfumes. What are skin, animalic, fresh Musks etc.;, how they are different or how to best use them as fixatives to support a fragrance. There isn't a lot out there about this (that I can find) and it seems like an essential part of building a quality fragrance.

Is this the first time you have ever smelt Oud? Cause my work isn’t like bad boy at all. My work is very heavy and long lasting. Oud can smell earthy. So please buy a 10ml first.
I’m still green in the fragrance world and wouldn’t know oud if it walked up and slapped me in the face, I just follow my nose like tucan sam lol im ready to smell different from all the other mainstream lines and I want something that’ll project through these masks! I want to dabble into the niche fragrances but not sacrifice smelling good for projection, I looked at the scent profile and seen blood orange and felt I would like the way it smells especially with all the awesome reviews I’ve read about onyx, I feel like I’m waisting a lot of money buying all of these designer brands that everybody knows the smell of already not saying they’re bad fragrances I’m just ready to go left vs mass appealing #exclusive
I wonder if you will nose/review Bad Boy edp. I'll surely get one of them just not sure which one yet. Bad Boy (edt) has gotten me multiple compliments back to back from people who seldom/never complimented on any of my fragrances before.

I've just got a sample of this and I don't know why but the smell reminded of the colour violet and purple. So I thought I check your review about it, and isn't funny the background to your video same colour to what I imagined. Maybe it reminded of Versace Dylan Blue.

Weird, typically we have similar tastes but I didn’t like this one very much. Reminded me of every other soapy, sweet Invictus copy with chocolate thrown in.
I just purchased a 1.7 oz bottle of that from Ulta for 60 bucks. It was on one of those random stuff shelves. They must have found it stuck in a corner in the back or something. Not the greatest deal in the world, but considering the prices it goes for on eBay now I can’t complain, plus it was really cool to find it in a store like that.
I have a sample of this and think it smells great and performs well. The only reason I won't be buying it is not a huge fan of the bottle and while it does smell good it has a very familiar tonka bean base that many other men's frags use these days, so it's a little redundant for me when I have fragrances like Armani Code Absolu and Profumo that I'd rather wear instead
I agree. The bottle is horrid. But what inside is great for the price. I don't review packaging but if I was to redo my marks for the bottle it would get an 8/10. But what inside is perfect for the price and marketing. Thats why the marks were high.
You know, I'm really surprised you like this! I would imagine you enjoying the flanker version which is EDP Le Parfum more because it fits alot of what you tend to get excited about. I felt like the EDT which is the one you reviewed was too much citrus and EDP was darker and gourmond
I think this is the best of the £50/50ml fragrance I’ve smelt. Daddy is a massive beast homme is actually what I’ve got on now. Your smell the authentic Iris as it’s so smooth and buttery.
