I’m going to do a full investigation 🙈 I’m so embarrassed & appalled as this completely goes against who I am and what I stand for! 🙈 I’m sad you don’t like the fragrance of course but I’m way more sad & upset you weren’t treated well. Had a similar experience with a macys employee . She was trying to get my mom to buy a perfume. A simple floral clean, fresh perfume(jasmine accord, masses of hedione, sandalwood). The lady was so quick with everything, very rude and was insisting this smelt like nothing she’s ever smelt before. All she wanted was that sale, didnt care what my mom liked or anything. I told the sales associate that it was boring and smelt like every other clean floral. She hated me 😂😂 my mom appreciated it cuz later she settled for delina la rosee which was far more unique in her opinion. We love the lychee in it. So juicy and fresh. The sales associate for parfums de marly was super polite and caring. I hate when i feel rushed when buying a perfume.

If I get that attitude from a sales associate, I walk away and buy it from somewhere else, if even at all because they are representing that brand. I work in retail too, just because it's Selfridges doesn't make them special! There's just no need for it. If they don't care about customers they should go work somewhere else. Thank you for calling that B out! 🙌

I love that you always highlight the service aspect of buying fragrances. I work in food service I’ve worked both back and front of house. You always treat the customer with respect. I’ve been fired for selling weed (prior to it being legal) at a job that the manager still to this day gives me a reference because I’ve always been good with any customer and i learn the product. It’s also the first thing I comment on when I go into shoppers to buy fragrances, if the store clerk is helpful or knowledgeable. They almost never ate and it’s a shame. Can’t wait to move to a large city instead of this po dunk town and buy some real fragrances

I have one question, I made my first fragrance, using 99%naturals, and I have problem with dissolving, some of the oils are not dissolved in alcohol(I use perfumers alcohol 96%), I think it could be patchouli that makes problems, I used sweet orange, ylang ylang, mint, rosemarey, lavander(40/42 standard), west virginian cederwood, frankincense serrata, patchouli and couple drops of some vannila smelling oil for aromatherapy, It is ice creamy one

Make sure Huda pays you what you deserve when she reformulates it and starts cashing in on this

Selfridge’s customer service has been really up and down lately, I went in looking for Rose Prick and the sales assistant gave me this smirk as if to say “don’t waste my time, you aren’t going to buy it”.

I got a jobsworth in Boots last week. As I dont have a Boots card, I offer my loyalty points to the customer behind me and the assistant was complaining about it

I really don't like Kayali fragrances for the reasons you described, especially that they need grounding. People seem to love the vanilla but I think the same of it. I don't think I am the demographic for which this brand was created. I think that demographic is people who use the makeup brand associated with the perfume, and usually those are younger people. Anyway, I'm sorry someone treated you badly. One thing I have learned in life is that you can never judge a person based on wnat they look like. Once I ran into a jewelrey shop which specialized in Tahitian pearls, and I was looking very un-glamorous because I happened to be passing by after having ridden my bicycle into the town from far away, and the jerk who worked at the shop basically wouldn't show me anything because he didn't think I understood how costly pearls are, but I'd be willing to bet I know much more than he about pearls, just as you knew much more about perfume.
