The same thing happened when I tried the decant Soleil Blanc. Which I think was the original. Thank you . It's such a pleasure watching you to describe every part of the ingredients in the perfumes. No one , NO ONE else does it like you. AN EXPERT. 🙏
You have a way of describing each note in such detail, that I can reconstruct them in my head and almost literally smell it. You are a rockstar nose! 👃
I just recieved my bottle of Ozone and I love it! I will be trying Onyx next and can't wait. I also want to say when I first seen your videos I was intrigued by your personality and how you talk is like a master story teller but it was hard for me to follow along because I didn't have a good understanding of the science behind fragrances. But the more I watched the better I started understanding and then when I found out you were a perfumer it all made sense. You quickly became my favorite fragrance youtuber and again I am excited to try more of your fragrances because I can tell the passion you have from your work and that is what makes a masterpiece imo.

Aaron, I have never comented on a RU-vid video, but now i have to. When i see the passion you have towards perfumes it litteraly brings tears to my eyes. Happy tears. Although Perfume is not my passion in life I still get inspired to do well in my own passion. When seeing people doing what they love and living it, it is so inspiring to me, no matter the subject. Thank you, and I am starting to enjoy parfumes and different smells more and more, I learning alot from you. I wish you all the best!
You should try Rose Cuir by Frederic Malle. It's done by Jean-Claude Ellena and features a rose accord built upon geranium together with cassis, vetiver and other woody notes juxtaposed against isobutyl-quinoline. It is just amazing!!!

WIth Tom Ford anything they put in a coloured bottle (not the plain brown private blend bottles or the resort collection) seems get an extra £50 added onto the price - FF, Bitter Peach , Lost Cherry etc - does it really cost that much to spray a bottle ?! The new one Ebene Fume sounds good - i love the idea of smoky wood, but again its in a coloured bottle so probably ££££

I've not tried either versions of these but I do have Juliette Has a Gun's Vanilla Vibes which I find to be a fantastic suntan-lotion-style / vanilla beauty that sems much lighter on the musks and weird woody accords you're describing while still perfectly capturing that sun-drenched, salt-water summer feel. i love watching reviewers’ videos on this fragrance. Every single person not only picks up on different notes, but describes the entire experience differently Every. Single. Person. I am a person who really likes it. And it does last over 24 hours. You called that. I get a lot of sweet and orange and a bit of powder, it’s reminiscent of orange creamsicles and sweet tarts to me. lol I definitely agree it is way overpriced. edited: when you said plastic Barbie! it does have that sweet powdery plastic vibe - but I like it! Maybe because I had tnose dolls as a child :)

sounds like a copy of SUN by Jil Sander which is an awesome incredible fragrance for 30 years now for the cost of 20 € 75ml. distinctive and beautiful.
@@AaronTerenceHughes Have you sampled Nassomato Fantomas? Very strong plastic rubber note but it absolutely works for me! Imaginary authors The Cobra and the Canary has a rubber note too. Weird!
If you catch the train from Flinders street station in Melbourne to Melbourne zoo there are feral Peruvian Pink Pepper trees on both sides of the tracks.
I am very interested in what ATH has to say about Noir de Noir as well. It’s the definitive Private Blend imo. It’s a shame that the house of TF has degenerated somewhat since the release of Black Orchid and the original Private Blend collection.
I love how you approach the blurb describing the fragrance. This time the marketing didn't even make it that bad. Relatively speaking. Hmm. And you know what, the issue with the composition reminds me of music, just like the preview review. One of my favourite guitarists said how hard it was to make complex music sound simple. (Making it both easily digestible and deep.) It sounds a bit like Tom Ford tried a bit too hard to go several ways. Like a bad ballerina split.
You might like heliotropin, but almost all heliotrope frags I've tried were completely unbalanced and overwhelming sweet powdery plasticky, just as you said. I don't think designers really know what to do with the helio.
Just smelled it today before viewing this, sprayed it on my hand a few hours ago and it has not changed at ALL! I find myself liking and disliking it and have since my initial spray and I wasn't sure why until this review. I agree, the aldehydes are jarring here. And the bit about plastic. I didn't notice before, but can't un-smell it now, totally reeks of plastic! I also smell some smoke which is interacting strangely with the honey and orange and aldehydes as well. It's just a weird fragrance! Great review as usual ty.
I've HAD MDMA before and I'm only NEW to the hobby so I feel fortunate to had even GOTTEN my HANDS on some of that a few years back...unfortunately..the NEXT TIME around all they had was "Molly"..didn't like IT as much lmfao jk 🤣😂
