Decent condition 6,000 something, 7,000 something cheapest under budget unless your lucky lower than 6,000 an depending on the mileage of the motor and trans, there's parts left an right at the junkyard the most expensive would be 8,9,10,000 an up The old 4.0s they got the power ,front timing is way better push rods the new one's no those have the they have the front and back timing chains an especially the guides which they get worn out Now 3.0s there not the greatest on gas but there good on power I pulled a f550 over 3,000 pounds unexpected My 2002 ranger has a 3.0 custom paper gasket, 3.8 throttle body spacer from a mustang, an other paper gasket, 60mm throttle body from a 3.0 Ford Taurus can't forget the the long throttle cable too , JBA performance headers that should do it for power wise , tire size 285/70/17 Kendas 315/70/17, that's the biggest I'll a rare factor 37x10.50r15 hardly find something like that . If anybody ask about the Dyno I have no clue
Dopeeeeeee ranger, when I was 18 that was my dream prerunner n now that I’m 46 I have a 06 tundra with king coil overs regeared exhaust, 318,000k miles lol now I’m just cool with having fun n makin it home with the ac still cold 🥶 as fugg but I feel like I lost my chance to get a dream ranger like this but as u all know SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA is extremely expensive so I’m just happy to be able to afford to get out there n hv a good time YALL KNOW WHAT I MEAN 😂
I remember seeing Marcell a while back on another build breakdown. I inherited my grandpa's 94 ranger and Marcell put me on game with the engine callout and now he's given me the granny callout and it's local! Thanks for doing what you guys do! (Now all I need is money or a sugardaddy)😅
7:34 The era of forums was my favorite time. It was super helpful and had the most useful knowledge from some of the BEST people within each industry. *All forums* not just off road
Builds are so sick. Man one day I'm gonna build one. About 80 percent done now at this point and nearly 2 years in on my first go at a hand built off road machine. More like a single seat rail and man it's there is so much time goes into building stuff like that and way more on these trucks.
Sweet truck. The story on the res tube mounted below basically ups the fluid flow through the piston by about 15% when the piston passes the port. Icon does it on some rear Toyota shocks. Dan vance built and prepped his trucks off Cherry in Long Beach too
Frame kicking,,, many people do that.. we use to switch the cab mounts front to rear ,it automatically will kick the frame pretty high in rear without any frame cutting or mods
