Incredibly well mixed, especially the snare tone. You were remarkably precise. This is a great example against those that think the bigger kit means a better player. Plus it seemed like you were having a blast. Very well done.

A bigger kit is harder to controll and use because of the more space you need absolute controll off. A smaller kit is harder to be creative and forces you to maximise the space usage of the musical instrument, Both have big pro's and cons and are harder in their respected ways but not harder than each other.

Seriously what is with you people that criticize bigger kits??? Do you criticize periphery for using 7 and 8 string guitars? I doubt it. And nobody says a bigger kit makes you better. I think bigger kits are more enjoyable to listen to, and more enjoyable to play. Skill has nothing to do with it. I almost never see the inverse either. Guys with big kits talking shit about guys with small kits. It's like you're insecure or something Plus his kit is not even small lol look how many cymbals he has. That's pretty normal dude.

The blast beat is surprisingly easy. The real hard part is the double bass groove. It's a pretty weird pattern. 1 5 7 3 3 5 5 7 3 3 5 5 7 3 3 5 5 7 3 3 5 7 with snare and crash accents in various spots. By far the trickiest part for me but I got it down now. I never write stuff down when I'm learning but I had to with that

Please for your spine's sake (and general back pain), raise your toms/cymbals and bring your snare to match. You don't have to change the space or angle between the drums/cymbals, but, keeping it all so low, making you lean further over the kit, messes with your back. I'm just a random idiot so this contributing to my insomnia and other issues is hearsay, but, Mike Malyan had to stop drumming for a few years in part because of this and correcting these issues has fixed his back issues. I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO SUFFER lol
