@SyqLAWL Yeah on the recording we used my td-20 with 4 toms, but live he has been using 1 tom and fewer cymbals just to keep things simple, we are a lazy bunch haha, the less there is to move and setup the happier we are!

okay......first off. Just saw these guys for the first time at "The Underground" in Mesa....I'm now a HUGE fan. Second...when I saw them, I couldnt really see the drummer....HOLY FUCKING SHIT! he does all that with a 3 piece kit?????? AMAZING!!!! He is, in my opinion in the league of Danny Carey, and Brann Dailor....nuff said.

Travis Orbins the original drummer and amazing drummer at that! Matt and Travis have 2 totally different styles both kill it and you can see with both of their drum play throughs how different they approach the same songs! Now that Matt has moved onto Pearl drums his set up is bigger set up.

@ChronoGXay hmm, i never really understood anything, but when i practiced it repeatedly over the two years i started to understand alot of things and developed my own style

@IwillPAWNu misha wrote most of the parts and programmed them using SD and, like you said, Halpern recorded them using a Roland TD-20 I think.

3:19 - 3:36 is ridiculous. if any drummer knows a thing about playing a live show, i think we can all agree that grooving that hard live is just insane. crazy.

@george5030 - i could be wrong, but i know matt had an endorsement through "Dream Cymbals" for a while... i think his two crashes are from Dream... no idea what size or series. the hats and stack/trash are mostly unidentifiable... the top of the stack is a Zildjian Oriental China Trash, again cannot tell the size.

So what kind of headphones is he using? I've been looking for in-ear headphones to play live for quite a bit, but all I find doesn't seem to cost less than 100$ (apart from the common in-ear Ipod headphones, which I've been also asking myself if they do work properly for clicking yourself in live performances.
