Man, for a hardcore Periphery fan this is like a trip down the memory lane. I remember watching Misha playing that JP7 before the first album was even out.
I actually hope he doesnt sell it because I remember those first videos too, all new materials was the shit. That holdsworth cover too, this dude shreds haha... I wouldnt want to let go of those memories
I made a breakdown and analysis of his gear that goes through and compares it with other similar gear with prices and finally I calculated the sum total of everything he is selling just for the kicks. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rcUo3hLsR3w.html
I can't believe there aren't more comments about that Blackmachine B6 and I really really really can't believe Misha is willing to sell it. What a fantastic instrument. Considering how rare Blackmachines are and how much that particular Blackmachine has been used in Periphery records, I would consider it to be a literal holy grail guitar. I wish I could afford whatever Reverb will price it at.
@@MFKR696 How is it a B2? If I'm not mistaken B2's have ebony top and faceplate, like Pin's from Sikth. B6 is Indian rosewood fretboard and faceplate, no top. This matches the b6 specs perfectly and Misha calls it a B6 in the video.
I can’t believe Misha is selling that black machine. Both that guitar and the JP7 are THE guitars of my adolescent years when P1 just came out. This was such a nostalgic video.
Owning that JP7, knowing what PI meant to me and so many musically.. man, that’d be an honor. Imagine the tours where people were like “are you gonna play The Walk?” Well, now you can play it yourself lol.
Yeah, I know this feeling. For me is even harder 'cause I'm from another country. Here, you need to choose between afford a small apartment OR get one of these guitars. No joke!
Don’t sweat it dude. At the end of the day they’re just guitars. We’re all Periphery fans here and the history of each one is really cool, but the magic was in Misha and the rest of the band. Certainly not saying these wouldn’t be cool to own, but it’s not as if the magic of the music they created is inside of the instrument itself.
@@TiagoJardim Yeah. My issue is that I'm in another country as well and I don't wanna risk it with international shipping. I would have happily bought some of this stuff if I was in the US and I'd love to own the JP7 and B6 in particular.
@@aninfinitemindofmusicandreams That's true, when I think about send one of these in international shipping, it give me chills. That B6 is sick, but do you remember the B2 he had? That one was fucking amazing!
I used to manage a music store that hosted Vinnie for a signing. Hell of a nice guy. Part of the deal in getting him was supplying light run and Diet Pepsi.
i stopped playing metal as much some time ago but I saw that he's selling the orange ht7 and NOW I NEED IT AAAAH the marigold playthrough is what got me into periphery
and the modern eAGLE I remember the first time I saw that in the making of P2 videos and I was like oh my GOD that is breathtaking I NEED IT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO AFFIRD THIS EVER BUT I NEED IT
Wtf Misha. I told myself I was gonna save up for a JBM9999, and now you do this? I've wanted one of those orange HT6's for so long, but they've been impossible to find. 💀
Yup, because they were only made as needed and there wasn’t that much fallout from the production line, and I also snagged a 6 and 7 for myself, so they are extremely rare.
I always wanted a black machine ever since seeing it back in those early bulb/nolly days...like 15 years ago! I'd love to have that guitar, still one of the coolest head stock designs ever! Should probably hold onto that one haha. Do you still have that Ibanez RGA 121 Prestige?
Sad not to see Misha's swirled 8 string Ibanez RG here - Was my absolute dream guitar as a kid. Wonder if it was one of those that was too hard to let go?
Wait a minute, how did the low note stay in tune on P1 using that JP7 with a floating bridge, 25.5 inch scale and picking hard with your old picking technique? Even with a tremol-no the scale length will be a problem, this almost defies physics.
iirc he used a 68 or 70 gauge string in G# lol. I have the same setup on a JP15-7 as a backup guitar to a 26.5" 7 string with a floyd rose & a 64 gauge low string. It does work, just not as well as a longer scale.
Can anyone please let me know what device is that in the background left? (Blue and Gray faceplate with a VU), sitting below the Torpedo reload and on top of Suhr and ampete?
The year I want a new guitar, I’m hit with a dilemma. First I want the JBM9999 and now you’re selling your current collection of studio recorded and live guitars on reverb? Gimme a break Misha 😂
You sell it for an extremely high price and if it doesn't sell fine and if it does then its a huge profit that is difficult to refuse, everyone has a price as the old saying goes, I think it sold for 12k when it went online which is a huge profit for a B6 which usually sell for around the 3k region.
The horizon guys must have a loan come due, cuz Misha is selling off some pieces meant to make the fans salivate and Gilmanov has some spicy Carillions for sale. Must keep reminding myself that a new guitar won’t make me play better lol.
Don't worry. There's only a couple that are under $5k. The rest are much higher. I don't think it's in danger by being bought out by them. The JP7 is $9k!
