Back in the 70s when just about everyone was wearing afro or natural this was the only way I could get either by using these cold wave rods. I love this style and thinking about going there again. Good job !

I like this cut and decided to do my hair like it because being natural is very hard. Too time consuming at times. This cut looks great and dealing with4 c even more difficult. Two hours is like fabulous to the 1000% power. Thank God.

I appreciate that you showed us in detail all that you did to produce this beautiful hair style. I have a tapered cut similar to yours on my 4c salt and pepper hair. I have Ben using similar sized perm rods, but you showed me some great tips on getting better results. Before I mention those, I want to add how great it is that you use a minimal amount of products, as I insist should be the case. Including a foam wrap lotion very much like you. Thanks for explaining the importance of using oil in the takedown. I'll be doing that from now on. Also, I have been searching for tips on how to get a lovely part. The fact that you do a cornrows for that is a revelation. I wish I could learn to do this neatly. Any advice on an easier, alternative technique would be helpful. Your techniques for getting the style right at the end are welcome tips. Thank you for showing how to get this style as awesome as possible. You are beautiful, and I will subscribe and follow you as you have all the right approaches to dealing most simple with our natural hair.
