Beautiful job as usual, but you should get a curling sponge. Our hair is around the same length on the sides and back and my sponge saves so much time and effort to get the same results.
Thank you. I actually have a sponge and use it sometimes, but when I want my sides and back really defined and uniform with the top, I have to go back over it and shingle. So I prefer this method for this style.

Love this video and "The big chop and how I style my twa" video. I'm currently waiting for my hair to grow out a little more before I do the big chop. My question is, I currently have a career in City Government and was wondering how I can wear (and maintain) this style and have it fit in with my profession. I don't wear oversize earrings and my make-up is somewhat suttle. Any suggestions? Can't wait to hear.

+Kenya Wright After a week it still looked great, but I washed and redid because my scalp was itchy. I will not be showing how long a style lasts without covering it as I do not condone that, it's not healthy for your hair. I sleep in a satin bonnet every night to protect my hair and keep it moisturized. Hope that helps!
There needs to be a Work Your OWN Hair challenge. If more women do this, the culture of this issue will change for the better....and edges and coins would be saved.
