Your perm is absolutely perfect - you should never go for curls looser than this in your future perms, but I think just a few blue rods here and there will give some localised smaller curls that will provide some variation and extra interest in your curl texture! It's worth considering, as you seem to have come to embrace a number of suggestions that your were initially nervous about on your hair journey so far! Highlights make a real positive difference as well, and I like the suggestion of creamy blonde that has been made - I think this will really work for you! Now that you've tried the face framing highlights, I think you should go with the suggestion of using the cap method next time you get your highlights done - it will give much more interlaced and natural looking results! How about skipping highlights in march, but doing creamy blonde with the cap along with your july perm for the summer season? You'd look gorgeous!!!
Thank you! I'll have to think about doing color again so soon, I want to enjoy the color I have now before doing anything this summer. I'm still interested in seasonal highlights but not anytime soon
@@vivianpratte I'm glad you're interested in seasonal highlights because you look sooooooo good with curls and highlights together! With your hair being short as it is, the silver color will have all grown out by july, and other than the last of march's perm on the ends your hair will be virgin again and begging for a summer perm and creamy blonde highlights!!! I think you should so do this in july - it would be a crime not to!

I like your natural hair color best of all. This color you have now, for something different and fun looks good too. In person, the silver looks really good but I couldn't capture the color on camera grrrrr I love playing around with color now! lol I agree, the tighter curls are me all the way! I will definitely keep the tighter curls vs relax curls
I LOVE the tight curls - even curls from red perm rods would look great as youve the face for tight curls! Wouldve loved to have seen what the cap hi-lites looked like - I thought you were opting for them this time? For silver color youd look stunning if you did solid 100% silver color like you suggested earlier in the video! I think you should try this with your next perm!
I discussed the cap with my stylist but she said she had more control with foil. I definitely won't do color again anytime soon because I truly love my brunette color but I'm having fun so far! I'm keeping the tighter curls for now on though!! I love having curls over color :)
Tight curl perm all the way!!!!! Like the hilights a LOT more than just your natural color, so PLEASE keep them up!! Have to agree with the other comments that you would suit blonde best of all, and especially like the suggestion of creamy blonde hilights!!!
I have to agree that the tighter curls are far better suited to my personality! The color is far better looking in person than the video... not sure how to get a brighter picture to show it off better... I will think on it lol I am interested in some creamy blonde highlights for summer though!

Your perm is knockout!!! The tighter curls are simply perfect on you! You certainly look better with highlights than without too! I actually liked how your hair looked after bleaching but before toning as the silver is perhaps a bit too dull for your bubbly personality, and lighter and brighter hair would better reflect this! One of the lighter blonde tones would suit you perfectly IMHO!
I agree with the tighter curls all the way!! The silver was so hard to capture on camera for some reason... maybe I can get a picture of it in the sun (it is snowing now so have to wait for the sun to come out) or maybe an LED light. I want to research this creamy blonde because it sound so fun and very summer vibes, I am definitely considering highlights for seasonal times!
I am a hairstylist and im really thinking about getting a perm again i have a bob which would like to be softer your hair is nice and I agree a few blue rods would make it mere fuller. Just need to convince my friend to do it.

I love your perm and silver color! Such a fabulous makeover, your new curls and color suit you so much more than plain brown and straight hair! Blonde highlights would suit you better than silver I think. Would you be open to trying blonde shades in the future? You'll look great with light shades of blonde weaving through your brown curly locks!
Very nice indeed ! Length really suits you - looks really fresh . I think you’d have been good with blue as curl has dropped a little with the colouring and whilst tight not for everyone - looks great on you Hope you’re happy with it !
Thank you! I'm being pleased with it and I think I'll just keep the tight curls for a long time but this color I'll let fade out. I will never go blonde but I have had a fun experience with highlights and silver color - but the tight curls are my thing!!!

I love the pink rods and probably will keep using them but my husband was having a hard time with how tight they were - that's why I wore the headband to make it more feminine. I really don't like blonde especially for myself so I won't be doing that again. I think I'll let this color fade out and just continue doing the perm. But I'm having fun so far!!

Your hair looks very beautiful! Your curls are very much better suited when tighter! I think your hair looks best at 6:50 when they are wet and more defined. And I love how the hi-lights look here - brighter, really revealing your curls texture and giving you a lighter over all color which suits your eyes better than brunette! You should go back to the color you had here and style your curls with gel for added definition!
@@vivianpratte Why is this? You look much much better as blonde than brunette, and better as blonde than with silver! I can see it would take time to get used to the change, but from an outside point of view it must be said that blonde is really your color - just as curls are really your style! It took you some time to come round to having permed curls but now you would not be without. The same will be true for blonde color if you try it and get used to it. You were born to be blonde!

@@vivianpratte That is great idea - you can be brunette for fall and winter, and get hi-lights done once a year for spring/summer. This will give you variation throughout the seasons and you can appreciate being both brunette and blonde each year! You would look really beautiful with creamy blonde hi-lights all through your hair for summer instead of platinum blonde. Creamy blonde is close to silver, but brighter for summer, and not too extreme like platinum! You should keep the perm all year round both when you are brunette and when you are blonde! What do you think?

The curls look absolutely amazing, and make you look significantly younger not older! Tighter looks better on you without doubt! The color is nice and I definitely prefer it to no color, but I honestly think you would look better with platinum blonde highlights rather than silver, as silver risks making you look a little older - though it's obvious from your youthful face that you are not! I still think the cap would work better at distributing the color - and would prevent scalp irritation as it would work as a barrier. Definitely do platinum with a cap next time!
