In this video you're going to learn how to fix your rib flare. When it comes to addressing rib flare and fixing it for the long term there are two factors that we want to be mindful of.
The first is learning how to better regulate our breathing. If your ribcage is fixed in an anterior shifted position then this will impact the positioning of where you diaphragm is. Because of this ribcage positioning your diaphragm will have a more difficult time fully descending and as a result your ribcage presents as "flared" and fixed in the state of an inhalation.
The second variable you'll want to start to be mindful of is where your center of mass is in space. Typically when dealing with a rib flare your body is more oriented in extension. This is the bodies way of attempting to find a "neutral" balance relative to where your other joints are in space. This rib flare positioning is typically accompanied with a pelvis that biases an anterior tilt which further perpetuates the tone of extension.
Throughout the course of this video you're going to learn how to access a different way of breathing, but also how to better position your pelvis and ribcage relative to one another.
Like many things - the more you practice and put in the repetitions the more unconscious this becomes for your body over time. What I would suggest is practicing these exercises three to four times per week and add them into your current training days.
These exercises are not meant to replace your entire program, but offer a different perspective and insight into how you can create better structural alignment.

Bro I had this same issue of rib flare, I have been to a physiotherapist, he fixed this thing and after some time I started alot of tightness in my traps which made some imbalances in my face muscles, my face symmetry is not as perfect as it was before this, can you give me a solution please and the physiotherapist also made my left shoulder feel like its going away from my body. I hate this feeling when I workout, this sucks man. Btw im loving your videos
