Hey I have the ONN Box now when It comes on the screen goes Black after the Boot up screen. Anybody know how to fix or factory reset without seeing the screen? Thanks

There may be some apps you actually WANT running in the background like a VPN or an ad blocker. It would be nice if there was a whitelist for apps that you don't want to be affected by this

I’ve had the new onn a full week now. How are you liking it. ? I think it runs smoother than the last version I have both. But both run great for 20. I don’t even add storage I run 4 apps 2 movie 2 tv

How can I change the country on an ONN device after it’s been set up? My device worked fine in USA but in Canada getting an error 403 and can’t find it no where in the system to change

My VPN surf shark it's still working in the background because the timer is still running after I leave and go back it doesn't start the timer over so that means it's still running in the background because I've had it on for a couple days

I'll flag this info as nice to know, but in real life practice, is it really necessary? My Shield purrs like a kitten, and I truly believe in the old saying "If its not broke, don't fix it". Not to mention that killing off background processes or killing the app once you leave would certainly have an impact on VPN running. So that alone would make it a no go, but nevertheless, still interesting find.

A great tip! The Chromecast response is faster. I limited the background process to 4 and have not experienced any problems with my launcher app or VPN. Thanks for the insight.

Maybe I am about to show my age 😂, (57 in August) but how do you get Google Assistant to speak to you (ala Alexa voice control) Without all of the extra commentary She provides via Google "Talk Back"? BTW another excellent video.
