This show is highly addictive, very serious with a light side, I love how the main characters went from enemies to friends to basically family. The dynamic was spectacular. I would definitely watch again.
I love the interaction between John and Finch when John got shot. John realized how dangerous the situation would be for Finch if he showed up and tells him to stay away, and for a moment we see Finch realize that, and think about it, but then keeps on speeding ahead to get to John
HE'S INCREDIBLE! I'VE WATCHED HIM IN OUTANDER (SIFI MOVIE WRITTEN ALSO BY DG) THE COUNT OF MONTI CRISTO AND MOST INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE "THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST".I AM SO GLAD HE STANDS UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT. HE WALKS THE TALK . I PRAY GOD WILL KEEP HIM ON NO OTHER PATH BUT A PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS ACCORDING TO ONLY HIS WORD!NEVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN FOR THE DEVIL PROWELS AROUND SEEKING TO KILL STEAL AND DESTROY THOSE WHO LOVE JESUS CHRIST!
Always cool, always calm, and ALWAYS deadly... Reese is the epitome of right and wrong and is the angel of death from god... always remember someone is ALWAYS watching
My favorite scene (well, one of them, anyway) was when John strolled through the Marshal’s office, taking them out one by one, so effortlessly. His combination of aikido and ... well, everything else is blinding.
Denise Armstrong ... Hollywood doesn’t like his strong Christian stance. They can’t control him, so they don’t recognize or honor him. He said that he doesn’t care, though.
Bob Collins He also put moral and behavioural boundaries about what lines he was willing to cross and what lines he wasn’t. The industry appears to be punishing that kind of independence. We wouldn’t see his work, at all, if he didn’t have genuine talent and abilities. Also, if he didn’t choose the work he involved himself in carefully.
he believes in the most high god, when you take a stand against the world for his namesake, there will be consequences and retaliations, just the stuff you'd expect from satans minions, evil vile despicable things, jims light shines his way,its all a human man can do is believe in the one who stilled the water, then there will be a lighted path
One thing about Finch that I love is that he can be just as scary as Reese, when he wants to be. Finch is able to buy, bribe, and disguise himself into most situations, and then cripple them from the inside. He proves that even the desk agent can be as powerful as the field agent.
I first watch Michael Emerson in Lost. I was so used to Ben's manipulation that I kept waiting for Harold to turn out to be an enemy for some reason. In that moment with Virtanen in Zoe's episode, I think that was the first time I realized that Harold was a good man capable of being ruthless rather than Ben being ruthless man capable of choosing good. Still one of my favorite Michael Emerson moments across both shows because of that.
Gee,do you think this show was saying exactly what's going on in reality at the moment? We're all being watched in one form or another? Yes, it was a great show, but it points to exactly where we're at right now.
Hey guys. Have started work on a Season 2 video, It should be up within 2 weeks, most likely within 1 week though :) Thanks for all the views and comments, it makes it all worthwhile :)
POI has many great scenes, while I objectively know, there are better scenes, I always preferred ... So, I take all of your money. scenes. I love that scene.
I agree and it isn't fair. I'm an agnostic. I, personally don't give a rat's ass what your relugious, sexual or political pursuasions are, as long as you're a decent actor, in a well written movie/show, and don't try to ram those personal beliefs down my throat ..
The show was so original and timely. Certainly, it was written by some of the most talented writers around. The acting talent was a joy to behold with so much authenticity I had to remind myself it was just a show.
I was told that he is very Catholic and the sad truth about acting is that many people don't except religion, they won't pay attention to a person's talent and who they are as a person, only what they believe in
Actually i watched it more than 4 times and it still for me the best series i have ever watched, mix between technology, action and drama and amazing friendship
Season 1 finale, ( episode 23, ) was one of the best cliffhangers of any show! Root is introduced, Corwin is killed, Harold's in trouble, John's pissed! The stunts in this series were very well staged. The car bomb scene is beautifully handled. The entire series was brilliant!
My favorite show of all time Sad that it was taken off & they will run doctor series shows. For 17 years Look at where we are now. This show was truly before its time Hats off to all the people with open minds God Bless Youll FOREVER rob
The Finch character is to me Center/Origin of everything Everything is Finch (He is Insane and everything in this Great Series is his insanity, what is inside His head) I worry about the writers of this Series
Angel Eyes, Count of Monte Cristo, Frequency, Tombstone, High Crimes, The Passion of the Christ, & so many more. Jim's resume' is amazing, Hollywood is insane for not using his talent, the ones they promote now are pathetic. Their failures prove it.
How is every song selection in this entire show so perfect for the moment it's played? How can someone know all this music, know exactly where it fits, and get the job of deciding that? That person is a champion, a demigod of style.
It's probably a computer software.. An algorithm than calculates the main messages of the episode and then runs through a huge songs list with similar key words. Fits perfectly with the show ;)
Music for Person of Interest is by Ramin Djawadi, one of the best TV & film composers there is in my opinion. He did Game of Thrones too which is major league, before that Person of Interest was the biggest project he'd worked on. The original score he's composed for it is fantastic, the 'machine theme' is awesome and gives me chills when I listen to it and every part of his original music fits the scenes and characters so perfectly. For me the music is a big part of what makes PoI my favourite show. I knew it was going to be great when I heard Massive Attack in the first episode. What I don't know is whether Djawadi also chose the non-original songs for each episode - so all the cool songs we hear when there's a scene that's particularly dramatic, important or just bad-ass - sometimes they use an amazing song just to add some more impact to a fight scene. I guess Jonathan Nolan probably had a say in what songs were used, I remember reading about how they saved Pink Floyd's Welcome to the Machine for one of the final episodes. Definitely worth looking up 'Person of Interest soundtrack' on RU-vid to hear a full playlist of all the artist songs used and also the original score by Djawadi.
Carter has her gun drawn on Finch and Reece who's been shot. Soundtrack going normalish for a moment like that. The second she makes the decision to help them the soundtrack switches into this heavy guitar rock that is incredible. The very SECOND she decides she's helping them and the sountrack kicks up perfectly. 10:28 in the clip, but go just before that to hear the change in music.
Because Jim Caviezel is too good to get the award. We know that. It's about not making him famous. But he is famous anyway and great actor and human. We know him also from the Mel Gibson's "Passion of The Christ".
I've learned statue doesn't make the man!!! The man makes the Statue!!! I will support Jim however I could. Bless him Lord that Jim all needs will be met and more. In Jesus Mighty name!! Amen
@@woodbrassandglass His brain didn't freeze up -- he kept silent because he believed (wrongly, poor man), that if he said "wait for me" loud enough for Jessica to hear him, she WOULD wait for him & he thought she would be safer/happier with someone who lived a safer life than he did. He sacrificed letting her know his True feelings, so she would be happier. THAT is what makes this scene so heart breaking 😢😢😢😢
No one will see this, most likely. Something that's easy to miss, the Machine was looking out for Finch, in one of these scenes. 9:41, when he passes the traffic light, directly afterwards, the light changes. Either Finch got really lucky, or that big doting AI that loves him so much was manipulating traffic signals to help him get to Reese as fast as possible. Truly a fucking brilliant show.
My favourite moment is just after that my friend. When Detective Carter catches John and Finch with gun drawn, takes a beat and changes her mind to help the music changes the instant she changes her mind to help them and it's such incredible soundtrack work.
I love this tv serie it doesn't have family dramas or relationship drama like most of the shows now days. Just action, i wish there are more series like this one
Caviezel does a great Clint Eastwood imitation, the relaxed walk, the calm, whispering voice, the laconic speech patterns, the you-don’t-know-it-but-you’re-about-to-get-your-ass-kicked manner in confronting adversaries.
This show deserve 10 seasons to say the list.il's dark but still not heavy.it's vibrant alive action but still it's has a story , some sort of humanisation.I'm really liking it.And i think we should and we could get our voice heard by the industry to do more episodes of this show.
It seems that they don't make tv shows like this one anymore ! There is not one tv show after ' person of interest ' i like . Please Hollywood , make more tv shows like ' Person of Interest ' or like ' Fringe ' or like ' Continuum ' or ' Breaking bad ' or ' X-Files ' !!! I've seen more then 100 tv shows , and P.O.I. was the best one !
@@axucaroso Definitely !!!!! It's been the only Network show that I have been following for the last 6 year's, also Blindspot is pretty good, but took a downturn in the last few seasons... If you get a chance, check out Sneaky Pete on Amazon Prime !! A definite winner...
Love the part at 14:13 where Reese smacks the guys with the hand dryer. This and Reese's fight with Hersh are two of my favorite fight scenes from this show.
A good spook is nothing like that overgrown poof Reese. A good spook is nondescript and would vanish in plain sight because you would never think they were anything other than Mr or Mrs boring!
@@BipoIarbear Too bad. I can't remember why I started watching it, but I was hooked with 'Yeah, he's in your trunk, Lionel'. Characters floated in and out, but they were able to plan an ending to the series and I'd certainly look for anything else by that team and guy.
Somewhere Harold Finch and Raymond Reddington strike up a friendship while shopping for hats and vests, and get together to play chess while enjoying a crisp fall Riesling and listening to Bill Evans
You did an awesome job putting together the Person of interest video scenes. I only got to watch a few episodes and missed the parts you showed here especially where John gets shot. thanks so much for doing this. Now I’ll go back and watch the episodes I missed, there are a lot of them. 👍😊
It means betting a company's stock will dive and profiting from it. It's a little complicated. You cause a panic sell off (sometimes borrowing the money), then buy it back up when its cheap. Here Harold uses his money to let the company totally fail. Hardcore American capitalism. A while back, the Reddit boys smelled a shorting of "Gamespot" shares (a company they loved) in advance, waited, waited, and then - BAM - bought it like crazy. This caused those hedge fund pricks to lose literally billions, while the stock soared through the roof! Small investors like you and me got fabulously rich, and the company was saved while the hedge fund pricks had to scramble to cover their loans. Made the news. Now THAT was fun.
