@@TheTrueYonko That's kinda how development works? You can't do anything for free or instantly but you can't be suprised when you cut corners to reduce both there will be critics, who's to say cutting the answer, femc, etc is fine but not any other gameplay feature?

I don't know much about the first 2 games but I know they had a few versions (and sequels due to the games being too large for the PSX?) So maybe they can combine all those versions together. The games'll be long but maybe it'll he worth it.

honestly even though p1 psp has new tracks and that are good they don't really set the tone of what P1 is in which the original OST does what also hurts is the PSP has an even smaller OST then ps1 which had additonal tracks and even character themes not just Maki's and those are good to hear but not in the PSP ost which instead they just use more of another track which can arguably be more repetitive then vanilla p4 and 5. Another point is that it makes P1 feel like another P3 as they use the same singer who is really good but it's like "let's have the singer of P4 do P3 Reload" it would just feel very awkward to hear and wouldn't fit the despressive nature of p3 compared to P4's more light hearted tone

P1 remake I could see the story be mainly the same but I could see that they could take a strip of the manga and have both routes merge rather then kept seperate. Also stuff like being restricted to 5 characters could also be patched up which would help give certain characters have more of a presence as how P1 is like as it is Brown and Ayase (outside of SQQ) are just kind of there, Reiji has an arc and Elly's presence makes her appearance in EP have more feels. P2 remake I could less changes other than gameplay fixes for them and possibly merging the 2 games which in JP save data of IN does pass into EP but there would be a worry on the game's length so they might do it like fes where the Answer is kept seperate but still in the product

@@ingram4056depends on how muchg of a rework it would be if it's like the psp remakes where the visuals are mostly the same then yeah a bundle but if it's something like reload then I can't see it due to a bigger creation process

Honestly, unless they changed things up a LOT, idk how the calander setup and stuff would be an option. Particularly for P1, it'd be like doing it during the Qilphoth World portion of 5. Less than an hour in, and the city is barricaded with magic and demons are everywhere, and most of the game isn't in the normal world. Doesn't leave a lot of room for that sort of thing far as I can see.

The only way I could see it, is that every three persona games have the writer changes, like P1-P2 duology it is Tadashi Satomi and P3-5 has Katsura Hashino. After three games the formula, story and gameplay changes. So they should treat it kinda like capcom where Resident Evil games have different mechanics and I think the fan base will understand that P1-2 is going to be different if they market it like that as well. The games doesn’t have to stuffer unnecessary modernizing and the new fans will know what there are getting in too as well.

Atlus knows people like you are the majority (aside from the story opinion since most people I've met who've also played p1 and p2 say p2 is one of the best) The odds they don't remake it especially if p3r does well is low

Yeah unfortunately the majority of the fandom and the general audience has the same opinion as you, I seriously doubt they're gonna actually remake P1 and P2, as much as it hurt me to admit

the sad part is they did that for the PSP and other than Eternal Punishment (which we never got) they bothched the other 2 in some way or another, not to say a "third times charm" is impoossible for them we can see that with P3
