These are all of the romance options during the end of the Taurus Temple dungeon. Depending on what you pick, the protagonist, Tatsuya Suou, and the selected character are considered couples. 0:24 Eikichi 0:41 Jun 1:02 Maya 1:38 Lisa
tatsuya: i like jun lisa: ffffffffffaaa......ntastic!!! thats great!!!!! im so happy for you!!! you can like whoever you like!!!!! love is love!!!!!!!!!!!!
Simple. Eikichi is obviously a straight guy who, depending on the order you went in the temples / dungeons, is dating someone already. Meanwhile, picking Jun would seem like a more serious choice because it’s more believable than picking Eikichi.
@@MatsuSenpaii Yeah ngl Eikichi and Junpei are one of the two characters that is 100% impossible to make gay headcanons for, not even bisexual headcanons.
will ALWAYS be endlessly funny that lisa will be totally chill with the fact that tatsuya likes dudes UNLESS its eikichi. homophobic but only towards one guy specifically
tbh im still stunned we went from this fairly polite stuff in 1999 to whatever the hell is going on in the later games my jaw dropped when yosuke asked if its safe to share a tent with a bisexual person... edit: * sigh * what happened here - yes persona 2 has some transphobic npcs but theyre optional npcs, not the worst transphobia ive seen of this series, and tbh i just straight up forgot about them - people are defending p4 for being a product of its time when this game is ten years older and completely accepting of homosexuality and bisexuality - deadass thought we were getting past homophobia, why are people saying sleeping in the same tent as your bi friend is dangerous what the fuck
Yeah but that's his character, it's not right he's homophobic but the game never shows him as being correct. In fact they play him off as of he's a joke.
@@redder_ It's still weird that he never got called out for his behavior, though. It would've been fine if they didn't cut out the option to romance him, since him being closeted and dating the protagonist would've come full circle. But nope, he's just casually homophobic towards Kanji who's probably not even gay, and nobody talks about it...
@@mf9677 That doesn't make it okay? That's also not a good excuse since Persona 2 let you romance one of your male party members, and none of the others thought it was even weird. He's even implied to be the canon love interest. Idk what to tell you about that
@@riv7797 yeah. But for some events in the plot (that I'm not going to tell you, because the story is too good to not play the game), it doesn't surprise me that they didn't include her. Plus to the fact that is going to happen something to her depending of some choices that the player must do. Sorry if there is something that you don't understand. I don't speak english. 😅
Once you start dating a party member, if you do a demon/shadow negotiation with said party member, they hint at their relationship with Tatsuya and their portraits blush
Well, it does affect gameplay With Jun the relationship changes to "Lovers?" if you picked him, and enemies can be homophobic lmao Or allies in.. very strange ways
