Hey guys! First off, apologies for the iffy dips in audio levels here and there. Out of the three, who is your favorite archetype, or who do you think had the best character development? I'd love to hear your thoughts! *~Follow Me~* 🐤Twitter: @VirgiliaLady twitter.com/VirgiliaLady 🎮Twitch: www.twitch.tv/ladyvirgilia 🌟Patreon: www.patreon.com/LadyVirgilia
Just found this channel, great content. Persona 3 has become one of my favorite games and I hate everytime the game gets bash because of people looking on a superficial level only (for example, people criticism on Yukari's actions on the answer without looking into context, symbolism and intertext) hope you can keep up with the series, as a extra, it could be great if you could add a little bit of info on the persona they own, when is not for gameplay reasons (empress=bufu, fortune=Garu), the deity or character behind the persona holds a meaning related to the arcana (and P3 is the game that reflects this association the most) for example the relation between the high priestess and Lucia/Juno Lore. Even the S. Link persona for example how are Koryu and the Hierophant arcana related. Anyway, thank you for making this amazing videos
Thanks so much and I'm glad you enjoy the in-depth character studies! I love the P3 cast because each one of them have a very obvious flaw related specifically to their tarot that they eventually overcome in the end. I love the idea about doing a series on each of their respective Personas. There are a couple other videos from another game series that I'd like to tackle first just cuz I've had the ideas for a while now. But after that, I'd like to return at some point to the symbolism of the character's personas. (I got some other video ideas for P3 as well, so don't you worry haha).
The Magician is extremely fitting for Junpei, so I wanna throw in another moment that solidified this (HEAVY SPOILERS FOR THE ANSWER): At the end, they’re were two groups: Those who wanted to bring back Minato from the dead, or leave him be and protect the world for all an eternity. Junpei was so conflicted that he didn’t choose either side, but rather made up his own team. He desperately doesn’t want to fight his friends, but he does know what’s right.
I just discovered your channel! I had to start with this video. This is so cool. I love the tarot and I love Persona so this analysis is super interesting to me
